If the courts throw it out, then he wins election promise fulfilled but blocked by others.
Any terrorist event that happens on USA soil from refugees and or citizens from those named countries, then it does not fall on his shoulders.

As I do with so many Football and Baseball Games to a % that would blow your mind my Initial Take on this was Wrong.
Mainly bcuz of the Fake News reports I saw online saying Trump had exempted countries due to Trump Enterprises having Business Interests in those countries but No Excuses. I was immediately uncomfortable with this, felt Trump had overstepped but now I feel that was an Incorrect Take.
I do agree with Karl Rove though that Trump would have done better to have waited till his Cabinet Appointees that will be dealing with this Travel Ban and Vetting Process were in place and announced with them at his side allowing them to explain the order, the reasons for it and precedent within US and World History for such an Order.
Karl Rove though, while I hated him with a passion when he worked for Bush, he is a Genius at the Theatrics of this. The Chaos that ensued at Airports, the backlash...I felt these things were very -EV for The Republican Party and for The Trump Administration. Some have proclaimed in very glowing terms praising "Genius" that Trump was playing 4th and even 5th Dimensional Chess re: the distractions he was causing with Voter Fraud Talk and a couple other things to cause Less Reporting on the OEs he was signing so he would get bashed less in The Press for those.
I thought the suggestion that Trump was orchestrating anything like that absurd.
If one thinks on it though, there is a path to seeing how the manner that this Travel Ban OE was released and the reaction it got?
There is a way to see that this could be "5th Dimensional Chess" cuz if that path that is visible, but thats hella hard to see...of how the reaction caused might have "value"....the premeditation, planning but mostly the courage to actually do it the way necessary to get the reaction desired so as to Affirm very FORCEFULLY in a manner that would leave no doubt that Trump is going to Stand for The American People against WHATEVER COMES.
