Oh BTW, I called this book to ask where they were from. The rep didnt answer me so I aksed again. He grunted something so I asked again. He replied "why"? I said what do you mean why? He says "why are you asking?" I started laughing. I said because I want to know where I'm sending my money. He asked me to call back after half time. I said well "I'm thinking of signing up" He asked me to call back. Apparently all 20 phone lines were busy.

I went to look online and it seems thet they are same company as safedepositsportsbetting and bookieaffiliate.com located in Costa Rica.

Bottom line the outfit seems very unprofessional and I don't know why he acted as though he was located in mexico.

What do we know about this book?

Its a new 20% bonus Costa Rican book that doesn't offer overnight lines, not open 24 hours, novelty domain names, full juice with atleast one clerk that wasnt properly trained.

Wrong again, shit disturber, they aren't full juice.

You were told this (by their Rep) over at Covers forum a few months ago, but you chose to be a prick (as usual) instead of listening to what he had to say.

I looked again before I posted. Signed in and initiated some football wagers at -110. 20 cent lines. Are you playing 40 cent lines?

Even if it is somehow reduced juice thats even worse with a 20% bonus!!

I posted fact for those who want to consider it. I didn't start a run run thread with my name by it. So go ahead and play there (even though everyone knows you don't even wager)

As for everyone else, right after I posted my "shit disrupter" I recieved an email I will share after my request for details are emailed back regarding this thread.

I have been with SBT now since around the time it first opened up. There are a few books that I will stick around with for a very long time and is SBT is one of them.. I will be there for as long as they're around. I only got an original 20% bonus, and that was it.

Why I am staying there all this time?? A few reasons.. They have half points off NBA with the trivia. I LOVE THAT. I can't tell you how many times that half point has come in this year so far, and how many middles I have caught in the last 4 days in the NBA.. NBA has been a gold mine the past few days with the lakers being in a few of those (thanks to the mailman at the line with seconds to go and missing)

Also, they have paid me like clockwork. I call up at 3 pm for a check, and the next morning, it is always at my door with FEDEX. I don't know how they get it here so fast. I have really did well against them too, and they have paid me close to 30k so far. Also, hands down, best baseball lines i have ever seen. 5 cent lines with the trivia. Wherelse you going to find 5 cent lines? F uck do I miss baseball..

And my main reason why I am there? 2 months ago, my acct got pretty high and I really had a bad feeling, so I called THE SHRINK from my cell downtown because I was out enjoying a lovely meal with my better half, and I couldn't really enjoy my meal as SBT was on my mind. I really thought I might get stiffed by this new outfit, so I called up our doctor of the rx and asked him, I said Dr Kenny, i have a bad feeling about SBT, I think they're going to stiff me, should I be worried?

And Kenny's answer was .. YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.. SBT IS SOLID AND I KNOW THEIR OWNER VERY WELL..

Since I heard this, I have been enjoying my stay there. So there you have it boys, Kenny gives the

to this book.. So if you ever get stiffed there, we can all blame our old pal Kenny..

Thats great to hear. Hopefully everything will continue as is, there won't be an "run" and all your money stays safe in there.

Shrinks advice about treating books in general at this point in time would contradict his previous endorsement as would a few other saying "stay with books that.......right now"

I'm not pretending to know something I don't just commenting on what I do know.

So here are you located?

It seems that some people have never had a problem getting paid here. But my own experience of having to constantly accept 50% of my original requests through neteller each and every time I made a request, along with a few times getting the run around on a fedex payout while getting excuses that their was a death in the family one week and then Robert was sick the next week, had me cautious on making any more wagers here. They seem to be a classic example of a book just starting out and trying to survive the bumps and bruises that come along with the territory.

Dozer's right about that - either you payout what was asked when you've promised it, or you don't.

I have 2 fair questions: if SG is correct that "And Kenny's answer was .. YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.. SBT IS SOLID AND I KNOW THEIR OWNER VERY WELL.." ...

(1) Shrink, do you still feel the same way? I'm not linking this to the fact they no longer advertise here.

(2) Shrink, if you know the owner well, you should be able to easily confirm the truth of what gamblingshark said about getting 50% of his request and getting slow, though apparently reliably, paid - can you do so and determine why this would be happening?

There's only one reason that springs to mind for me - it would be because they don't have enough money on hand at any given time to meet the payout requests and are relying on either incoming money or a profitable day to do so. Of course, I'm only theorizing here, not accusing anyone, but this is certainly not the first time I've seen comments like gamblingshark's concerning this book. If it's a few isolated cases, fine, but if this is common, then it certainly is not a good way to run a book at the minimum and I'll leave the maximum scenario for others here to fill in.

Methinks Sick Gambler still has mucho dinero at SportsBettingTrivia.

I'm not sure what Ken told you personally, but all I remember Ken saying when they started advertising here, was that the owner of SBT was a good friend of someone that Ken went to high school with.

And they never had 5 cent lines in baseball - the best you could get if you got the trivia question right was a 10 cent line. In other words, a -130/+110 line could effectively become -125/+115.

Can you pick a stance?

Seeing you in a thread is like getting clothes for Xmas as a kid. I was looking forward to it until I opened it.

Actually its more like getting a dirty syringe.

anyways...

With the exception of SIA and maybe sportsbook.com I don't know too many books that are that careless with their reputation that they avoid paying people even when they have the loot and these people are making up excuses that are complete originals. I'm up to 3 emails now telling me about slow pays. Maybe if FLame-ifax would put on his PG-13 hat they would post it here instead. What ya say fatboy?

Can I pick a stance ?

Yeah, my stance is usually that I point out what's accurate and what's not accurate.

I did just that with your story, as well as with some of the things that Sick Gambler posted. Is that alright with you ?

I understand that you've been ramping up your posting presence in order to get your name out for your new website, and that you've shifted your focus from the Baby Board at Covers to the Rx and Major Wager, but I'm still going to point out inaccuracies in your stories, if they exist. If you bet Moneylines at SBT and you get the Trivia question right, you'll get reduced juice, and if you can't get the trivia question right 80+% of the time, there's something wrong.

And for the record (although I have already posted this before), I have some bucks at SBT. I'm also in more or less the same boat that Gamblingshark is in - up to this point, they have paid me, but the payouts can't be considered to be fast.

Halifax: in your opinion, then, what would you consider the most likely reason for paying out like that?

I guess they're either (a) low on cash, (b) extremely disorganized, and/or (c) indeed having a problem with Neteller.

I will say that there have been several times when they have chosen to Fed-Ex me money orders overnight instead of paying me via Neteller. Not sure why - I don't think an overnight Fed-Ex is any cheaper for them.

Interesting - I wonder if anyone is getting slow-paid with even Fed-ex as opposed to NT?

Thanks, clevfan - so Halifax, looks like slow-paying has been occurring for both NETeller and Fed-ex methods, which means it probably doesn't have anything to do with NETeller itself.

Shrink: reposting this here for you as you might miss it on page 1 of this topic - thanks ...

Well your corrections were incorrect.

Your a real P.I. arent you to mention my site when I change my avatar 5 minutes before. I have a plan to put something on the web that can add more help to bettors that is not out there now and posting won't make or break it. I left covers for 2 reasons posters like you and I got tired of answering "which sportsbook is the best?"

This is a sub-par book and if you go down with it before you get some kid's post up from Covers than so be it.

This was a thread full of content and statements based on experiences and you try to bring character wars into it and throw it off.
Merry Xmas to me.

Jazz,
I think it might be too late for opinions after whats happened along with the fact the writing seems to be on the wall as far as a rating goes.
