I am very confused by this " shill " thing. What do we get from somebody bashing our book? A guy posts and says that we weren't going to pay his past post wagers and that's good for business? Please somebody explain how this is good? I have now wasted half a day repling to all of these posts that jjgold has put up slamming us. How does this help us? It doesn't. Thank you.

I told you all yesterday that these "shill" allegations were a bunch of shit. Got flamed some for it too. Oh well the price one has to pay for being right.

Patrick, I don't see anything that would make this out to be a shill job. If anything, TCB opened themselves up to more of these scammers by giving the full story-but they are already on top of that issue.

i really don't post here that much. i did on this topic yesterday though and i just want to say that there was some confusion with "guru's" post and that quite a few people, NOT just jj, but many respected posters had some very legit questions reguarding his post.

follow that up with what LOOKED like TCbets being silent and jj's out of control posting, it blew up....i said yesterday that all i wanted to hear was TC's reaction to this.

they have more then answered and explained what had happened and it is now over...but i do want to say that there was some grounds for skeptism. not to that extreme that jj was going, but there were some things that needed to be cleared.

thx again tcbets...

Okay thanks Tin, was wondering if I was missing something.

TCBets - one of our mods banned JJ for a week here. Maybe the issue will be dead before he returns. Thanks for your help.

Raisen - makes sense. Nobody should feel bad for asking some questions or wanting more answers. Most books don't mind at all if it isn't an out and out hatchet job before they can get here to answer. They don't monitor these forums 24 hours a day, they have to run a business too. I think the extreme way JJ did it is what is upsetting more than some asked some questions. Anyway don't be a stranger sir, we don't bite. Good to see you around.

No problem UB. As much as this book has been pissed on by the village idiot, I felt obligated to paste it over here. They paid a guy who past posted by 8 minutes--that's beyond bending over backwards for the player-even though the slime apparently makes a habit out of it. Beyond classy as far as I'm concerned.

Disagree, TTinCO.

A book that pays out $10 Grand on a blatant past post, by a chronic past poster who past posts "several times per day" doesn't instill condfidence in me as a potential post-up player.

Instead of paying out $10K to a crook, I would prefer that they had the proper systems in place to prevent these past posted bets from being made, thus ensuring that they will have enough dollars to pay off the legit winners.

Paying off a $10K blatant past post without blinking an eye ? ... and why the hell haven't they booted this guy already ? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Hali, maybe this guy "really" plays the horses & they think he will just give it back. Maybe it beats a big "they banned me" piss & moan session.

I'm hearing mixed reveiews on them, but this guy got paid.....

What do you disagree with? That they paid him?

If that's it, we can figure out that they have him profiled and that they will let him get paid on this apparent SECOND past post to keep him as a cusomer.

Ballsy move if I'm right, but also MUCH more than fair.

I'm happy to hear the player got paid in full.

This is a good thing, and obvioulsly JJ was not correct here to bash this book.

The part I don't understand is noting it was a past post bet. NO HORSE BOOK should EVER take past post action. I'm sure the player was docked losses in the past for his late action, but THIS IS WHAT's WRONG WITH TAKING Past Post action.

What can the store say, geez, you made past post bets before, you lost, we collected, now you past post you won, so we won't pay for that very same reason.

Anyways, TC did the right thing, and paid the guy, and this is what any reputable shop should do - pay winners.

Call me jj junior, and I could easily be wrong, but it seems like there's something fishy about their story.

I don't know - maybe bookmakers pay out $10K everyday to blatant past post attempts. I was under the impression that they didn't.

If the guy was burning through 3500 a night (at least that one), 50 straight tri's wouldn't be out of the question.

Toss a custmer or let him keep losing....

TT:

Do you know the guy was blowing 35 a night or are you speculating he was blowing that much?

This is knowledge only one of the owners or managers would have.

He moved 3500 there that day and appeared to be hell bent to put it on the line that night.

Whatever.

Your reply doesn't make sense to me, but it's not my business.
