Hi. Still trying to learn things here, I've been searching for the past week for something I found before. It's trends, but not the 'normal' trends that I find everywhere else.

It read something like this:
If a 'higher' ranking team plays a 'lower' ranking team, bet UNDER
If both teams are ranked very high, bet OVER.
If a player bought new shoes and it rains on Saturday...

Well, you get the idea. This was written to cover the second half of the NBA season. I can't locate it again.

Any ideas?
Thanks guys and gals,

You should know the difference between a trend and an angle.

Regarding trends, it takes an enormous amount of due diligence to be able to sift through countless thousands of outcomes to see which trends are more reliable than others.

I'll give you a clue:

You have to know what you're looking for and why.

Good luck.

These are usually called systems or situational angles. Most of these things are not worth the time it takes to follow them, IMO. You'd be better off just capping the games or following a few solid cappers.

Systems are situational plays that apply to any team that falls into that system. Trends and angles are usually irrelevant "stats" based on one team's performance such as "the steelers are 8-0 ATS the last two years in home games after two previous road games" or similar garbage like that. Systems do work and I have the research and statistical data to back that up. It takes a lot of research and coming up with the systems to begin with. Email me at dogdoug@aol.com and I'll send you the link to my website where everything is explained (other than giving out the basis for the systems of course). Put something like "the RX" or "the prescription" so I can differentiate from spam.

trends are good but should not be the only handicapping tool for a serious gambler.
