IDENTITY...looks like it, but its still a long season, and I am confident that many more opportunities exist for us to get it back, is coming up...and tomorrow may be one of them...Things like this happens sometimes, and I hate this kind of games because this type of game where one teams emotions and mental attitudes, and not so much physical abilities, won out for the weaker side...This is one thing in capping that we have no control over or ability to determine...We can only hope that it will exist for whomever we sided with today...Clearly, Troy had it and Missouri lacked it.
This is another example of why College ball is so exciting...the Home Dog, playing on National TV, with everything to prove plays with all there heart and souls, beating out the more superior team who looks to not have gotten their mental game up to match their physical game...and like Jerry Rice use to say, "this game is 90% mental and 10% physical"...Still though, the home dog doesnt win out all the time, for ex, Washington Huskies...and this is where whomever can have a good grasp on a teams attitude going into this type of game, more than likely will be on the right side...I was not one of them today and my hats goes off to Troy and all cappers who backed them tonight...Good call on this home dog....Aloha CC.
