For me unochamps, its the other way around...I dont like OVER/UNDERS that much...to much squeeze Ass...Especially when you have the Under and a Side action....Its like, Ok you want your team to score to cover...then you dont want anyone to score anymore until later in the game....which hopefully only your team would do, just to cover the spread even more...Then, like always, the other team doesnt follow the plan and scores and now you need your team to score again to cover the spread again, but then after they score you dont want anymore scoring from anyone again, as to many point is being put up to soon...So you go on to squeezing ass, not enjoying a game, even rooting against your team to faulter on their seemingly strong drives down the field...Or you start hoping for a FG from your team and not a TD, just to stay under but, of course still above the spread....LOL...a lot of headaches...You wish that no one scores until the last Q, which hopefully is done gain only by your team...but then their is also that awful backdoor cover coming back to kill you or on your mind all the time...Damn It...LOL...To much Squeezing Ass and mixed emotions....I hate it...LOL....I think this another reason why so many people rather play the OVER, and doing so, just fall right into Vegas's plans...LOL.

But I love my Teasers, especially the two teamers...I love to use it to change up the spread that Vegas sets to balanced their action...Now with points I am able to manipulate lines in my favor and which gives me some insurance for my side plays or to make lines more realistic on covering...Plus with some books offering things like 1 win 1 push= tie or win, or 1 win & 1 loss= Win or push, or something along those lines....and also offering even odds with no juice for the 2 team teasers,...it makes playing them that much more appealing for the people who know how to use them...

A good rule of thumb I was taught when playing them is to use only sides which you have confidence in them covering the regular line spreads...But even that sometimes doesnt work...I use the Teaser also in games like todays where I like the side, but the O/U is strong, but I need that little extra insurance to play it...Ex, I would of played the Under at 59, but waited to long and it was at 57 which I used the extra 6 points to get it back up and over to 63, which in this case the points worked out perfectly giving me the win....whereas a lot of people got heart broken on the Under(which should of won but didnt) in the end...

But in the end, of course, noting is a guarantee as I am sure everyone knows...but with trial and error and using some good handicapping techniques, one can get a lot of extra less stressful EZ wins playing 2 Team Teasers....Dont recommend playing over 3 teamers though...But hey that is just me and this is just my opinion...TFWIW...Good luck and Aloha CC.

ps: oh yeah, I forgot to mentioned that one long time gambler who also used Teasers at times along with his side plays...use to tell me dont ever forget that "Teasers" arent called "Teasers" for no reason....So use them only when you see an advantage and not on everything.

Also, there are other solid cappers here that uses Teasers as well at times with very successful results...like Ny Reb and OldmanTed just name a few...and I am sure these guys, could help with sharing more better some of the advantages and techniques in playing Teasers...I think TED wrote something about playing them awhile back....

CC,
Thanks for the info. That little f-cker Moats is a Nasty back. That 45yd TD run in the third quarter was insane. Flashes of Barry Sanders. Will look to play them a few more times this year, especially with the weight they will be getting @ Tennesse, Auburn and Miami.
Great day, my friend.

He is definately a solid one...His explosiveness down field after he crosses the line is incredible...I know Barry was good at side to side action, but he wasnt to fast for long straight aways...but this guy looks to have it all...Speaking of Barry....I dont know if you saw this, but they spoke on how similar these two backs are and that they wear the same jersey numbers(20) and how Moats will watch Barry Sander highlight tapes before every one of his games...Well, if your going to model yourself after someone...Barry's a good one.

Damn, I miss Barry...One of the most humblest players to ever play...He just scores, then hands the ball off to the ref...no hoopla, no cell phones in the endzone, no sharpies, no jumping into the stands, or Icky Shuffle(do you remember that one..LOL.)....Nope, none of that shit...Barry was the Man and started the, "act like you been there before" mentality, after scoring a TD....

Some are saying that Ladamien Tomlinson(sp) from SD is another Barry...hes also a pretty humble guy and good as well...but needs to get the hell out of SD...I think that guy from Iowa last year, who is with the Dolphins this year...Fred Russell...is sort of Barry Sanders like as well...

Anyways, thanks my friend...I am glad that we got this week off to a Big Positive start...now I am siked up for more and that is a good thing...Good luck to you and HAVE A GREAT DAY AS WELL....ALOHA CC.

Thanks for the La Tech pick, CC. Luckily for me I stayed away from the under.

If you like Barry Sanders, check out Darren Sproles from Kansas State. There will never be another Barry Sanders, but Sproles--like Sanders--lets his game do the talking, very humble and quiet.

El...you and everyone else is more than welcome...I love it when we all can help eachother win BIG and spank "da Bitch" in the process...

btw, I forgot about Sproles...thanks for updating me on him...I think in this fast pace College game with all the hype and hoopla surrounding it, not to mention all the rewards that these players are feeling/dreaming they will get after college(NFL), it is a great pleasure for me to see someone who is in the National spotlight still being able to keep a grounded, humble, and team first type of attitude about them...This, I feel speaks highly of his parents, coaches , and all those who they look up to....Just like Moats, whose role model is Barry Sanders...I am sure Sproles has someone like Barry, if not Barry himself, as a solid outstanding person and player to follow...

You're right about Sproles, CC. He isn't putting on an "aw shucks" show for the media--he is a workhorse who would rather play than talk, is very shy and does not like cameras in his face. His mother died of cancer last spring. He said that she was the major force in his life, making sure even back in h.s. that he didn't let his success in sports go to his head. He even quoted her as saying something like "just because everyone's telling you you're great, don't get to thinking you're all thay, Boy!"

Captain I am a big fan of your post, is there any way you can post your plays early in the morning on saturday or late on friday. I am at work all day saturday and would like to bet with you. If you can't I understand. I hope you beat the man this weekend, and all year.
