Love the Kansas play as they have had this game circled since the beginning. This is a home coming game for Dave Padgett and also Keith Langford is very pissed that Kirk Snyder was considered a preseason All-American candidate and Langford was not. Nevada is a poor rebounding team whereas Kansas is a good rebounding team. Good Luck

With all the dogs covering today I'm starting to worry about Kansas, but hopefully they will pull it out by rebounding and playing good defense. Their offense is still a little shaky though since they are unable to hit the outside shot. The Freshman Giddens is about the only one who can hit the three. I'm sure Nevada will be fired up to play the #6th ranked team in the country.

This game to me will result in a double digit win for Kansas. Nevada just doesn't matchup well vs the Jayhawks. To me this game reminds me of the Virginia vs Loyola M. game , many were hesitant as they felt that Loyola could pull the upset. But for me, this was a play where their was to much talent on Virginia's to have that happen. The same feelings are in this one. But I feel that Loyola is better than Nevada and Kansas is better than Virginia. So this should result in the same, but easier victory for Kansas.

Hope your right Co-Capt. I'm guessing the statements by Langford, the homecoming for Padgett, and rebounding factors propel KU tonight. I remember that Virg. game very well as they were down by 4 at halftime and had a strong second half to recover and pull out the win. Talk about sweating it out.

I look at it like this. Good teams has two chances to beat a weaker team . From the begining of the game they just take control and it is over before it starts. Or at the end when their talent just does the natural thing and takes over. On the other hand the inferior team in order to stay with the more talented team must scratch and claw all night long, and that is hard to do. This spread is low enough where Kansas 2nd and 3rd teamers can cover it.

Good to hear that your with me Kid . Lets get em.

Lets hope Kansas can do it tonight .... being a Jayhawk alum makes it hard for me to be objective about them at times, but seeing you on them pretty big makes me feel better .... Rock Chalk Jayhawk, Go KU!!!

Hey bud it's looking really ugly in this one so far. What are you thinking about KU for the 2nd half. This team roared in the 2nd half against UCSB the other night.

Wow, my boys ran into a buzz-saw in Nevada .... would take a miracle to pull this one out for Kansas .... not totally giving up but obviously looks very bleak.

I am in complete shock here , as I thought they were going to come out firing. But, we still have the second half and I have to stick with Kansas. As I stated earlier, Good teams can win two ways over their inferior opponents, that is from the start or from the end when their talent naturally takes over the game. I am playing the second half on Kansas.

I just saw the score. Dam WTF. #6 ranked Jayhawks? 18pts. 9 baskets in the first half. WTF. You think the increase in the natinal security status has anything to do with this.

I'm laying 8.5 2nd half...hopefully they make up for the Auburn debacle last night.

Kansas -8 for 2nd half .... hate to think Nevada will win the game by double digits, but everything I'm seeing leads me to believe they will .... hate to be a turncoat but may go against and take Nevada +8??
