BLANK CHECK MONDAY NIGHT GAME OF THE YEAR - Tennessee
</TD></TR><TR><TD class=body>Let's get one thing straight, this is one tough, tough game to handicap, but I believe the Titans are the right side tonight.
Second Monday Nighter for Favre and the Pack, as Green Bay got me on the first week of the season in a convincing win at Carolina (just didn't see it coming!). Green Bay has not looked the same since that win, and thus they are riding a 3 game losing streak into this one, including both home games this season.
Will the Packers lose 3 in a row at Lambeau? Well, I know that the Titans are just as desperate for a win, as they are also riding a 3 game slide into this one.
The difference in this game to me will come down to quarterbacking. Green Bay backup Doug Pederson is now done for the season, and starter Brett Favre is off that concussion that knocked him out of last week's game with the Giants. Just can't back Green Bay knowing Favre is one solid hit away from being sidelined once again. Craig Nall is now the back up, and that is a scary thought if you are backing Green Bay minus the 3-spot.
Steve McNair is still a little "dinged" from his bruised sternum, but if he goes down, I at least have a little faith in backup Billy Volek, who moved the ball last week in a loss at San Diego.
Also consider Green Bay's defensive line is slowed by injuries, so you have to figure the impressive Chris Brown can do some damage tonight for the Titans. This looks to be a war of attrition, and I will gladly take any points in what could very well be a 1-point final.
