I bet against the Steelers because I thought Tomlin is a liability. I remember him making some major gaffs on the sidelines over the last two years. Had to do with clock management, Timeouts, and kicking FGS. I don't think he's a very good game situation coach. Pittsburg was very lucky to get past Baltimore, and than to beat Zona. I think Zona lost the SB by being so conservative on their opening possesion. I believe they ran the ball 5 out of 6 plays and than punted. I'm puzzled to why they were so conservative to start the game. Probably cost them 3 to 7 points. I believe Pitt's defense is overated and Zona is the better team.

LMAO! I'll never understand the logic of you people. Zona's the better team and Pitt's defense is overated, yet Pitt is the one having the parade today.
They weren't conservative in the 1st half either. The problem was THEY COULDN'T FUCKING CONVERT! Pitt was dropping damn near 6-7 guys back into coverage on 1st and 2nd downs DARING Arizona to run and they still couldn't do that.

If Zona was the better team, how does Ben complete the game winning touchdown INTO TRIPLE COVERAGE, WITH 35 SECONDS LEFT ON THE CLOCK?

IMO Tomlin and Cowher both didnt do much as far as x's and O's go. They are the head coaches so they get credit for winning and shit on for losing though......I think they are both great motivators, both fiery, and both hard nosed. I think TOmlin brings a lot more philosophical/mental thinking stuff to the table though & I like that. the key is to surround yourself with good coaches. Dick Labeau is a hall of famer who aided both of their causes.....dont forget though Labeau sucked as a head coach.....Some guys are meant to be lifetime coordinators like Dick (uhmmm Wade Phillips.) While some guys are born to be tough firey motivators & leaders like Tomlin and Cowher.

As far as the FG call BTJ.......I personally would never kick a FG inside my 5 unless it was to tie or win a game late. However, if you watched Steeler games this year, their short yardage game SUCKED! Sooooo many times they couldnt get that 1-2 yards all year. I didnt like the call still, but it worked out in the end.

Zeeman.....Its easy to say P-burgh isnt the best team......no one really was this year. The league was wide open IMO..........once Brady went down. But to say the defense is overrated.....cmon. Thats one of the best defense I remember Pittsburgh having/running in the last 25 years.

It's called luck and timing ! Zebras put them in position to have a chance to win. Pitt's offense did nothing against Baltimore and Zona. Very lucky to be superbowl champs. I think Zona wins that game 8 out of 10 times. I saw 2 obvious holding penalties during Harrison's interception return for a TD. So many other times in NFL games zebra's call holding or illegal block on interception return's, but not in this game, WTF!
