The Pats didn't do Brady any favors this off season. Very poor FA and draft.

If he had the cast Peyton had he'd have similar numbers. The guy is still top 5...just has a poor supporting cast (or not as good as it used to be).

Must have been watching some other Colts teams than i did...
Not bashing manning but Brady has got far better results with his teams including 3 Super Bowls and he doesn't have a losing record in the playoffs.

Well, Rivers and Brees both had better QBR's last year, more TD's and by far and away, better completion percentages. What else do you want?

did you actually mention Rivers in the same thread as Brady

you're banned from talking football for one week, and I expect the mods to honor my request

otherwise I'm going to talk my skills elsewhere, "I'm outta here"

:)

Might wanna consult the master.... Peyton Manning.

plays with hall of fame wide receivers for his entire career and theirs

no QB has enjoyed more stability around him than Manning, he's the polar opposite of Tom in that respect

No Willie. Just pointed out that from an individual perspective, both Rivers and Brees had better overall individual seasons last year than Brady. That was it.

The one time they got a big time wr was Moss. That team set all kinds of records and would have been 19-0 if it wasn't for a miracle catch in the super bowl

Moss came to NE late in his career for a 4th round pick. They revitalized him, used him for three years and then traded him for a 3rd pick (not sure he ever caught another TD again, know his career ended)

also it was a huge break for the Colts that when Marvin Harrison killed someone, he didn't have to go to jail

I couldn't find Brady's career reception stats like I found Mannings, but I did find career TD's which virtually tells the same story

Most from Brady
39
39
34
24
18

most from Manning
112
67
44
33
24

how someone can argue Manning did not have more stability around him is kinda shocking

Harrison, Wayne and Clark have to have set some sort of alltime playing together record

Now he goes to Denver and has Thomas and Thomas, they go out and get Welker for him too

pleeeeeeeease

PS: also played for one OC his entire time in Indy, Brady plays for a new OC every 2 years
