here late tonight figuring tickets...(total slaughter this way..dallas/under/parlays..good thing dallas won outright so they play again thur)..anyway...i noticed some of the RR nominees for board room --all execellent choices too...
i just wanted to say to anyone thats interested in it, keep in mind the following things.
1. you cant please everbody...so dont even try
2. you will be bashed by some at every chance.
3. everyone makes mistakes, so if a mistake
is made acknowledge it, and move on.
4. stick by your principles...if you believe
something is right...then by god stick to
it.
5. treat every poster with respect (or how you
would like to be treated).
6. if a disagreement arises, stick to the
issues and solve it..if it seems to have no
end then compromise.
7. avoid personal attacks...they solve nothing
name calling is just that, it doesnt prove
anything.
8. ask yourself "why you want to be a mod"
you should be able to develope a list of
good answers
9. keep in mind this is a forum...a place to
share ideas, opinions, remarks ect. on
issues relevant to the forum.
10. last but not least IMO. you should be able
to have fun and being a mod should be
relatively stress free....
just a few ideas off the top of my head im sure there are plenty more...feel free to add...
good luck
..
just kidding..
