Three things I agree with.
1. A penalty box, I think this is a great idea. We'd have to work out how it would work/if it would work but I think its great.
2. An ignore button would be a magnificent addition to this website.
3. Every poster should be measured with the same stick, not use different standards for different posters.

Some Athletes of course get special privledges so some posters are going to get special privledges get use to it.
The ignore button I would never use because the guys that people do not like are usually the excting type posters , very few will end up using it except for a few mouthpieces you could miss something big.

Ken, can you give me the list of posters we have banned that you disagree with? Don't put any on it that are banned because of their dealings with you, we can't do anything about those people. Other than them I am very curious about the people the mods have banned you think don't deserve it. Since there is so many list the first 25 posters here and then we will go from there.

However with over 12,000 registered posters it is not feasible to think you can get away without banning people. We have extraordinary tolerance levels here for people who contribute absolutely nothing, hard for me to believe anyone can seriously believe we ban too much here!!? Also when we ban someone and then beg for them to return it makes the site worse not better, you have effectively let them know act anyway you want just please come back and post. It may create hits but it does nothing for credibility purposes. Just my opinion on this.

Sh!t posts, flame wars and pissing contests do nothing but drive away good and valuable posters. If you have to ban people to cut this crap out,then do it. I agree in "freedom of speech", but don't let the site go to shit because of it. Has happened to many other sites, don't let it happen here.

JJ.. I agree that the above makes for some interesting comments and opinions but there has got to be threshold where racism and derogatory remarks are deemed inappropriate. Posters don't want a site that is dry and loaded with the same threads over and over but I would believe that given the feedback so far they also could do without the other as well.

I don't think you ban nearly enough frankly. Petty forum trolls should go -- it's not like it's hard to tell one from a merely obnoxious poster such as Railbird, or from a simply useless one such as myself. People that go around trying to start shit for the hell of it, burning up bandwidth and getting people's buttons pushed for a laugh -- they should be banned. Fvck time out. Ban them, block their IP's, if they come back via a proxy block it too.
