Judge Mrs. Sportsbet and I are going to be up there around the 15 yard line (thankfully we got 4 seats...and 3 of the 4 in the group I have are Peeler fans...so I'm sure I'll hear a lot of crap). I was thinking of wearing my Dawkins jersey. We had a discussion about the game today at lunchtime...she's actually not talking trash because she thinks the Steelers will shut me up for her. I need to get her help.

Of course she did manage to rip on Jaws when I brought up the fact that Jaws is the man and Bradshaw is a moron. She did say he has 4 Super Bowl rings and Jaws has 0...to which I replied "Shutup".


I just hope the Birds win so I don't have to hear it for the rest of the year. It's needed...and warranted!

Judge that's what scares me the most...the Steeler running game. Our corners are a lot better than a lot of people expected. Lito Sheppard got beat on one play badly last week but they have made a lot more plays than people expected when we lost Taylor and Vincent.

Duce is going to want to stick it to us...which is fine he is entitled to want to do that. If anyone knows his running style (which way he likes to cut, which gaps he likes to run through the most) it's the birds...so if we want to have a chance to stop him from running all over us like most offenses have this year the Birds have to tackle better. They should know you can't arm tackle Duce. I mean this defense faced him in practice for years...these guys should know how to get to him.

If Pittsburgh can run the ball...and Ben gets enough time to throw deep (assuming he can read our coverages and our blitz packages...good luck with that rook!) this will not be a good game for the Birds. I'm worried...like I was worried against Cleveland...but I think they can get through this.

The return game is key too...we stopped Deion but Randle El is another animal entirely (much younger, much faster). The birds special teams is greatly improved but there are some holes. It'll be a good game that's the only certainty on Sunday.
