I need an explanation from a local perspective....Please

Either you are the nicest people in the WORLD or let's just say the most tolerant

Over the past three seasons I have followed the Vikings, and I have seen more games lost because of Culpeppers mistakes, and micsues, and just down right dumbazz play inclusive of yesterday

NOw I just finshed watching the first ten minutes of the Tice press conference, and he talks about missed opportunities, and waking up in the morning and being disappointed, and how this that and all his donkeyazz baloney...

but then he starts talking about how much blitzing they did, how the line alignments were good, how the game plan was strong

HE NEVER ONCE IN AN FVKIN PRESS CONFERENCE I HAVE SEEN, HAS CRUSHED THAT dumbazz IDIOT QB YOU HAVE. THAT GUY THROWS THE BALL RIGHT I MEAN RIGHT INTO DEFENDERS HANDS. AND HE FUMBLES EVERY GAME.

now please explain the following

HOW IS IT THAT LOCAL MINNY'S CAN TOLERATE SUCH IGNORANCE FROM YOUR COACH, AND SH!T BLIND VISION

and HOW IS THAT THE LOCAL MINNY'S CAN TOLERATE A FAT azz, SH!T LOAD IN PANTS, BLIND. DID I SAY STUPID.....STUPID, NO FUNDAMENTAL QB on your storied FRANSHISE

and how does a community ALLOW for such a LOSER....live among you......AND NOT TAKE THE BLAME FOR BEING........

DOWNRIGHT HORRIBLE................HOW DOES THIS GUY DODGE THE CRITICISM

are you all afraid of him???? is he bigger than all the locals? Is he the best thing you have seen in a strong arm???

You get my point, CHANGE is needed. And please do not tell me it is all because you have a redneck for an owner.......or is it???

well i will trytrytry to explain a few points.

first, Tice is still in a honeymoon period after Dennis Green. To be honest, MN is a bit of a racist community when it comes to sports coaches anyway, Dennis was run out of town and very much hated, fans thought hin to be be stupid, not prepare the team due to all the penalties they would get, fans thought he had a major chip on his shoulder. I think race had lots to do with the fans displeasure with Green. Not every fan but in general. some say Green played the race card first and the fans did not forgive him for that. whatever, they hated him. so tice (who might be the worst coach in the league and the lowest paid) still has not suffered the wrath. MN vikings Fans I would not say decent in terms of tolerating a black head coach but decent in general yes. anyway they seem to tolerate the Blind vision and horrible coaching from Tice for that reason.

Tice is so bad he cant teach Dante when to take a time out, how to use the clock and how to make adjustments at half time. HE cant really even figure when to use the Red Bean bag.

the fact Dante has improved his completion % speaks to Dantes potential in general. there are many worse QB's than Dante. He fumbles about as much as Vick and he will make some heartbreaker errors. MN is a nice 9-7 type of team with a decent but not special club.

keep in mind the fans who hated Dennis also dont like Duante, becuase Green drafted him (a black project QB) and did not take a DEF force like Jevon Kerse is who the fans wanted.

But Daunte has improved enough from the starting expectations and the long bombs to MOss to get most fans on his side wanting to believe in him anyway. and who else would you start anyway.
The redneck owner will fire Tice after this season almost for sure as he is getting older and needs to have a superbowl team in 5 years or so or he will not see one!

Hey I will give you another one when a game is on the line or is a big game playing one of the better teams in the NFL, not like a lot of the weak NFC teams for the past 5 years how about the Packers with Brett Farve this guy stinks when they play a real good team. Farve is so over rated. Also G.Bay won their S.Bowl from special teams and D. Howard run backs from punts and kick offs. Farve only had 113 yards in that game against the N.E. Pats and D. Howard had twice that in run backs. Farve never steps up against a really good team. Look at this year they only played 2 good teams Indy and Philly and got crushed in both plus Mr. over rated could even get a touchdown in the Philly game, also Tenn rip them at home inwhich they are just a very avg. team. Everyone else they played this year stinks. Does'nt anyone see this.

It appears that the Vikes are pulling the same trick they did last year--come out of the gate strong, then fade late in the season and miss playoffs.

My buddy took them -7.5 against Bears yesterday. I can't say I took the Bears, but I warned him about laying points on the road with the Vikes late in the season. It will be interesting to see if they can pull it together.

I think Minneota's play calling is horrible. They had 1st and goal at the 1 and tried throwing the ball to Moss. They ended up scoring on 3rd and goal on a nice catch but if your QB is 260 lbs, run the sneak once or twice. They then had 1st and goal at the 4 and once again threw the ball on 1st down. This time it was picked off. Their best games this year were when Mewelde Moore was running the ball. I think Tice is afraid to piss off Moss and Culpepper by running the ball. Their D is terrible and they need to keep them off the field as much as possible.

Good call, j.o.b. I'm sure Tice spends an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out how to handle that headcase Moss. He is an incredibly talented player, but I don't think I could stand to be around him for more than a few hours. Then again, he probably wouldn't like me either!

I first need to adress this statement. One kind of FAN needs to look to other teams failures to reduce their own. Come on man, this is 9th grade sh!t here. Favre is a legend, and he owns a ring, and he did it to follow up the Titletown tradition. But the fact that YOU are looking at other OVERATED SITUATIONS TO TRY AND EXPLAIN MINNY'S pathetic recent history IS STEPPING OVER THE DOLLAR TO PICK UP THE DIME.

GETa FVKIN MIRROR>>>>>>>>>>>>>> WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE VIKINGS....THAT IS WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT....not about how you rank in the world of mediocrity

and now to adress the additonal points.......EVERYONE BASICALLY SAID WHAT I WAS LEADING TO.......tice is a BIG STUPID PUZZY who is afraid of the superstars on his team on offense, and he is happy he has a job, because his next will be in the PAtriot League for college. And I was also leading to the race card, which was validated as well.

ALL I KNOW WAS WACTHING THAT PRESS CONFERENCE.....was like watching a GOOD OLD BOY COVER UP!!!!

There is no TOUGH GUY...though I can hold my own

Well whether favre is overated or not, YOU WILL NOT find too many to take your side.......but even if he is overated IT IS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VIKINGS SITUATION.......When you come a thread, and do not offer what the thread is then ....well........I am going to call a spade a ....spade

Favre average.....yeah that works........

tice is out of his league as a head coach, he is more suited to be a position coach, like a line coach. the only reason why he is the coach is he only gets around 600k/yr and all the other
head coaches in the league make much more, and the vikings owner is extremely cheap. tice can't manage a draft, can't manage the clock, can't figure out which plays to challange,
etc.
the main reason green was fired wasn't racism, but because
he was an arrogant, obnoxious s.o.b. he alienated the local media, threatened in his book to sue the owners unless they
gave/sold him the team, had numerous sexual harrassment
suits against him or his coaching staff, lost control of key players like chris carter, and finally antagonized the new owner.

Funny post about Culpepper. He is 2nd in the league in pass yards, leads the league with a 70.3% completion rate which is on a close pace to beat 70.6 NFL record(he also set collegiate record). 3rd in the league in passer rating. 2nd in TDs. Thrown 10 INTs. 3 yesterday....one an unbelievable play by Urlacher. One was a tipped ball the receiver should've caught. The other at the end of the game as he was getting hit. The guy will be starting in the Pro Bowl. The guy is a top notch QB and will be for years to come. The problem in Minny is a piss poor defense. It has been for the past few years now. The team lost to Indy on a last second FG. Lost to GB on last second FG. Both on the road. Actually would've won the GB game because they fumbled KO and Minny recovered only to see the ball go to GB. Lost to Philly and if they challenge the TD catch that Mcnabb "caught" they would've won that game. The Vikings will make the playoffs this year and I would fully expect them to compete for SuperBowl in the weak NFC. They've proven they can hang with Eagles already. This of course coming from die hard vikes fan. I want to go on more on this but i'm outta here for the day. My point is that Culpepper is one of the top QBs in the league and will be for some time. Obvious the poster lost some money on the vikes this weekend and is pissed off. Oh well.

Mn Guy

IMO, this seems like a pretty ignorant post by a guy who does know his football well (I follow your selections). I find it hard to believe that you want to place the blame on culpepper. He doesn't fumble every game!!! People see a few games where the fumbling is way too excessive and then its human psychology to look for that every game and blame losses on him because of it. You are correct, change IS needed, but how can you be so typical and blame it on the QB???? We need a GOOD head coach, that's what we need. Tice is out-classed in the NFL and he doesn't have the savvy or know-how to get the job done. Culpepper is in a rut these days but I am very confidant he will turn it on in the next few games, and then I hope all you culpepper haters eat your words.

Thanks for your comments, I have to differ. I have seen more big NEEDED games by the Vikes where culpepper has lost the game with a turnover inside the redzone, or a late pick or fumble. It has happened three time this year. One on MNF, and it happened about 6 times last year.

HANSEN BROS where are you???? He will tell you the exact games it happened and where and against who

Obvious the poster lost some money on the vikes this weekend and is pissed off. Oh well.
CAN YOU SAY "DREW BLEDSOE" ?????

What an arm and great stats......nothing to show for it

CAN YOU SAY DAN MARINO

Hall of Fame passer, but not a WINNER at QB, his last game ever played Dan threw a 85 yard INT for a TD return against Seahawks

I believe that Marino was far better than Culpepper at this stage of Marinos career. Marino never had the running game that the Vikes have. Which leads to this - Why is Minn passing in the red zone yesterday when the Bears have been horrible vs the run all year and Culpeppers turnovers? I'm a Bear fan and expected O Smith the whole game. Thanks, Tice.
