I actually like the current guy a lot but isn't it time for a Latino, Asian, or Indian guy to play the part?

Are you kidding? We aren't even close to achieving proper reparations for the Afro American acting community.

Black Jake still has another 10 year run in him. At least. What's fair is fair.

He’ll stay for a few more yrs then eventually, African LGBT, trans.

Asians not in the mix, nor are Hispanics even though they’re 17%.

He's already the "new one". The original was a white guy, answering questions from
a customer's suspicious wife at 3AM.

SUPICIOUS WIFE: "What are you wearing, Jake from State Farm?"

WHITE JAKE: "Uh....khakis..." cockingasnook()

A "leading" post about the ethnicity of a stupid commercial spokesman?

The RX is doomed if this is leadership.

ha, was weird when they introduced the geeky ginger to be alongside Flo. Progressive isn't very, ummm, progressive ... need some bruthas or at least some sistas or I'm switching to State Farm

btw, the original Jake from State Farm was a State Farm insurance agent named Jake

Haha. I noticed they did add a black guy to that Progressive bit with Flo around a year ago or so. He's in some of the newer ones. The one off the top of my head is where they are all dressed up in costumes and show up on the guy's driveway. That's the first time I noticed they added the black dude.

Latino is an ethnicity and a very tricky wild card. Most people think Latinos looking like a brown or indigenous person. However, Latinos can be white, black, mixed races. Take it from a guy who knows.

Ok

Mexican/Hispanic

Same deal Hache, you's got to learn brother. Look at the Red Sox players many white Latino's there until you see the surnames or they speak Spanish one realizes. For all we know Jake the actor might be Latino not fully African American!

Challenge:
Develop a fully integrated marketing communications program, to continue to change Young Adults’ perceptions of the State Farm brand, moving beyond the previous “Now What?” campaign into branded communication.
• Target: Independent Young Adults 18-25 • Timing:
• Budget: $120 million
Business Goals and Objectives:
Overall goal is to gain State Farm’s fair share of the Young Adult market by changing the perception of State Farm.
18% opportunity for market share for blacks 18-25

State Farm considered top of line insurance , these corporate idiots wasting dollars in my eyes. No way blacks influenced by jake and mahomes rushing to buy high dollar insurance, this is laughable
