The Drew Henson era should start today from Texas Stadium. Last Sunday Vinny went down with a shoulder injury and the former Michigan QB was greeted by the Ravens defense with a blindside sack that forced a fumble. All Henson did was get up, dust off and go 6 for 6 on the next drive with a TD.
Granted, it was a late 4th quarter score but Henson has some weapons to work with as TE Jason Witten has 650 receiving yards with 5 TD and Keyshawn Johnson has 599 yards with 4 scores. If Sunday was any indication the Bears can expect heavy doses of R Julius Jones who returned against Baltimore with 81 yards although it took the former Irish player 30 carries to get it.
The home team has covered the last 4 in the series although the last time these 2 met Dallas was only a couple years removed from their last SB appearance.
The Bears will be without Brian Urlacher who has missed time throughout the season. Chicago’s “D” has recorded 24 sacks this season with 21 takeaways. Craig Krenzel’s stats aren’t impressive at all (46%, 672 yards, 3:6 Ratio) but the numbers that count are his 3-1 SU/ATS record.
