A couple things...your math is wrong, if that was his record it would be 60% (not 67%). His actual record for 2024 is 117-90, which is about 57%. Longer term, his overall plays are around 55%. 55% is very good, very few (if any) posters here hit that number long term. Great job PA
Thanks for your post ct. He is doing a great job that few can match. 57% short term or 55% long term is very good. But to make the number more accurate you need to apply juice to those winnings. To make things simple let's just assume all of his regular bets are the same (let's say $100) and using -108 as the average juice which is normal at my book and many others. That 57% short term number is dropped to around 55% and if any points are bought that number is further reduced. Again, 55% is great and I doubt many hit that revised number.
Why does it even matter to you? If he bets $1000 (for talking purposes) on a top play. Are you going to bet $1000 on his top plays? You make his top plays a set amount that fits your play style (that’s whatever fits your budget if it’s only 150 then that’s what it is). When he has a regular play (let’s say for talking purposes) he bets $250 on a regular play. If you bet $150 on his top plays then maybe bet $75 on his regular plays. It makes no difference how much he bets on any given play. Even if it’s $20. He picks winners that’s what matters the most. Follow or don’t follow. I bet he doesn’t care if you follow his plays or not.

Good luck to everyone.

Maddog: Why would it be very important to know the amount of PA's wagers? It is completely irrelevant .
You don't post your picks, your line, your units, your $amount. So I don't know what team to wager, how much to wager on the team that I don't know to wager on. Yet I somehow manage to persevere. PA provides his selections, and includes which he has a preference for.; that is all u need to know.
Both of the two comments above are obtuse. Juice does matter.

Everyone, please understand I am still saying Pirate is doing well. He is providing a great service. I was asking for information so his true winnings could be determined. Just stating your W-L record without including juice or bought points can be misleading. It doesn't mean I am saying he is bad handicapper - I have always said just the opposite and mentioned that his posts are valued.

If you don't understand my comments or questions to Pirate, then you are missing my points and that is something no one can help you with.

Let's not forget Hawaii-1.5 at home versus Irvine. Total is 135.5

Hawaii beat up on small directional schools early on, but now floundering in league play against better talent than early on.

Not liking Hawaii, but interested in the under 135.5.

Your thoughts and analysis is much appreciated on this off the wall last game of the night.

Goodluck and Aloha!
Aloha, I loved my several trips to the islands, mostly Waikiki, even climbed the forbidden staircase up the mountain there, had a penthouse suite at the Hawaiin Hilton Village last time out and a great view of the Hawaiin Cultural Fest fireworks over the Ocean. As far as the game, this is more a coin-toss game and while the Anteaters are better on paper, their schedule isn't the greatest, so the record may be deceiving, and they havent beaten hawaii at hawaii since 2024. I'd have a small lean to hawaii for that and the line is a little suspicious. Let me think about it some more before I do anything or i may lay off...

Thanks Mr. P!

Don't make it a play if you don't see anything of value. Just a friendly opinion is appreciated. Just tapping your brain, so to speak. LoL.

Hawaii depends on the outside shot too much. Which makes them suspect in crunch time.

Hawaii will depend on defense, thus my liking the Under.

Thanks as always

I agree on the under for sure, I am overs evangelist as everyone knows, but i looked at the O/U and with hawaii's poor shooting, I eliminated the over in that game, the under looks like a good play in this one. Could be a 59-55 type game.

Don't mean to hijack a thread, but Hawaii is 4-2 under at home and Irvine is 4-1 under away with roughly the same totals as tonight. Like the under too. I might play 1/2 unit :lmao:

The under certainly looks pretty good. I'll be cheering the under here but may not touch it myself.

The ASU/Washington over was a top play.

Taking into account juice/bought pts./ top play(2units) regular play(1unit) 55% and a winning "record" could very well be losing money.

Do you have any plays for the forum? no, just crap AFTER the game is over like you did with @jkennington1966 Asked you nicely to stay out, and mods are removing your trolling for a reason. Let that be a lesson. Most don't want your crap in here. Good night.

Hawaii runs their offense to the limit and in the end the bench is counting down the shot clock and they take a desperate shot at the end. It's how they roll.

Now watch them light it up tonight LoL
