Preview: Indians at Twins
GAME: Cleveland Indians (7-7) at Minnesota Twins (7-7)
DATE/TIME: Thursday, April 20 - 1:10 PM EST
WHERE: Target Field, Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Cleveland Indians made it to extra innings in the seventh game of the World Series last season but might be even better in 2017, if only because shortstop Francisco Lindor keeps improving. Lindor will try to lead the Indians to a series win when they visit the Minnesota Twins for the finale of a rain-shortened three-game set on Thursday afternoon.

Lindor extended his hitting streak to 12 games on Tuesday and recorded his first triple of the season while helping Cleveland to an 11-4 drubbing in the second game of the series. The 23-year-old is starting to get more support from former MVP candidate Michael Brantley, who is 8-for-21 with seven runs scored in his last five games. The Twins are losers of three in a row and are 1-4 on a homestand that was shortened to nine games when Wednesday's scheduled contest was rained out and rescheduled as a doubleheader on June 17. Minnesota will take the opportunity to switch up its rotation and push rookie Adalberto Mejia back in favor of Ervin Santana opposite Cleveland's Trevor Bauer, who was scheduled to go on Wednesday.

TV: 8:10 p.m. ET, ESPN, MLB Network, SportsTime Ohio (Cleveland)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Indians RH Trevor Bauer (0-2, 8.44 ERA) vs. Twins RH Ervin Santana (3-0, 0.41)

Bauer has yet to complete six innings and is coming off his worst effort of the young season as he surrendered six runs on eight hits and two walks in five frames against Detroit on Friday. The UCLA product yielded four home runs over 15 2/3 innings in those first three outings. Bauer has struggled against Minnesota over the last three seasons, posting a 1-5 record with a 5.32 ERA in 11 starts.

Santana is off to a much better start and is aiming for his fourth straight win after striking out eight in a one-hit shutout of the Chicago White Sox on Saturday. The Dominican has yet to allow more than two hits in any start and is carrying a streak of 18 straight scoreless innings into Thursday's turn. Santana went 1-1 with a 3.18 ERA in two starts against Cleveland last season but has yielded three home runs in to new Indians slugger Edwin Encarnacion in 25 career at-bats.

WALK-OFFS

1. Twins CF Byron Buxton went 0-for-4 on Tuesday to drop his batting average to .085.

2. Cleveland 2B Jose Ramirez is 14-for-24 with 10 RBIs in his last six games.

3. Minnesota 3B Miguel Sano has struck out nine times in his last four contests.

Preview: Tigers at Rays
GAME: Detroit Tigers (8-6) at Tampa Bay Rays (8-8)
DATE/TIME: Thursday, April 20 - 1:10 PM EST
WHERE: Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, Florida

Trying to shake out of his early-season slump, Evan Longoria showed up at the ballpark Wednesday with a new look, trimming back most of the beard that opened eyes upon his arrival at spring training. The extra grooming changed both the fortunes of Longoria and the Tampa Bay Rays, who go for a three-game sweep of the visiting Detroit Tigers on Thursday afternoon.

Longoria collected three hits and drove in three runs as the Rays improved to 7-2 at Tropicana Field despite blowing an early four-run lead with a stunning ninth-inning comeback. Logan Morrison hit what appeared to be a game-ending double-play ball, only to see Detroit shortstop José Iglesias trip over the second-base bag and throw wildly past first, allowing the tying and winning runs to score in Tampa Bay's 8-7 victory. The Tigers wasted some big production from the top of the order, receiving six hits and seven RBIs from their Nos. 2-4 hitters - Nicholas Castellanos, Miguel Cabrera and Victor Martinez. Detroit also has a potential injury concern in Iglesias, who took a knee to the face from a sliding Brad Miller and was down on the field for a long time following the bizarre game-ending play.

TV: 1:10 p.m. ET, FSN Detroit

PITCHING MATCHUP: Tigers LH Daniel Norris (1-0, 2.19 ERA) vs. Rays RH Erasmo Ramírez (1-0, 3.72)

Despite taking a line drive off the back of his throwing shoulder in his last start, Norris broke into the win column by blanking Cleveland on two hits over six innings. He also tossed 6 1/3 innings of three-run ball in his season debut versus Boston, but the one concern is yielding seven walks in 12 1/3 frames. Norris owns a 2.25 ERA and 11 strikeouts over 12 innings in two career starts versus the Rays.

Ramirez made all but one of his 64 appearances out of the bullpen last year, but he is no stranger to the rotation after making 27 starts and going 11-6 for Tampa Bay in 2015. All five appearances this season have been in relief, including four innings at Boston on Saturday in which he gave up one run on three hits. Miguel Cabrera is 3-for-4 with a homer off Ramirez, who is 0-1 with a 9.35 ERA against Detroit.

WALK-OFFS

1. Tigers LF Justin Upton, who suffered a right wrist contusion in the series opener, is doubtful to play Thursday.

2. Rays CF Kevin Kiermaier is 8-for-17 with seven runs scored during a four-game hitting streak.

3. Castellanos became the first Detroit player with two triples in a game since Austin Jackson on Aug. 5, 2012.

Preview: Angels at Astros
GAME: Los Angeles Angels (7-9) at Houston Astros (10-5)
DATE/TIME: Thursday, April 20 - 2:10 PM EST
WHERE: Minute Maid Park, Houston, Texas

The Los Angeles Angels' offensive breakout lasted only one game as Dallas Keuchel made sure their bats stayed silent on Wednesday. The Angels will try to muster some offense against Lance McCullers Jr. and earn a split of the four-game series when they visit the Houston Astros for the finale on Thursday afternoon.

Los Angeles failed to score more than three runs in a contest during a six-game slide before breaking out briefly in Tuesday's 5-2 triumph, which featured a three-run homer by Albert Pujols. But Pujols went quiet on Wednesday, wasting two-hit efforts from the two players in front of him in the lineup - Yunel Escobar and Mike Trout - by going 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts as the Angels went 1-for-6 with runners in scoring position in the 5-1 setback. The Astros are winners of six of their last seven and watched Josh Reddick fall a single shy of the cycle on Wednesday. Reddick and the rest of Houston's lineup will take their hacks against Los Angeles' Matt Shoemaker on Thursday.

TV: 2:10 p.m. ET, FSN West (Los Angeles), ROOT (Houston)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Angels RH Matt Shoemaker (0-0, 6.14 ERA) vs. Astros RH Lance McCullers Jr. (1-0, 4.67)

Shoemaker is looking for his first win and will attempt to complete six innings for the first time on the young season after failing to factor in the decision in each of his first three turns. The Michigan native was bailed out by his offense after a tough start against Seattle on April 9 but rebounded to strike out seven and allow two runs in 5 1/3 innings at Kansas City on Saturday. Shoemaker had a hard time getting support in four starts versus Houston last season, posting a 1-2 record despite posting a 2.22 ERA.

McCullers turned in two straight quality starts to begin the campaign but fell off at Oakland on Friday, when he was reached for five runs and eight hits in 4 1/3 innings. The Florida native is racking up strikeouts with 23 in 17 1/3 innings while issuing only three walks. McCullers is 2-1 with a 2.09 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 38 2/3 career frames against the Angels.

WALK-OFFS

1. Astros SS Carlos Correa (bruised right hand) sat out the last three games but expects to return Thursday.

2. Los Angeles optioned C Carlos Perez to Triple-A Salt Lake on Wednesday and recalled C Juan Graterol.

3. Houston 2B Jose Altuve is 13-for-26 over his last seven games.

Preview: Phillies at Mets
GAME: Philadelphia Phillies (5-9) at New York Mets (8-7)
DATE/TIME: Thursday, April 20 - 7:10 PM EST
WHERE: Citi Field, New York City, New York

Noah Syndergaard's toughest foe this season has been his own hand, which has caused the 24-year-old ace to make an early exit in two of his three starts. With a blister and two bleeding fingernails likely a thing of the past due to his recent manicure, Syndergaard looks to pace the Mets to their fifth win in six outings versus the visiting Philadelphia Phillies this season on Thursday when the National League East rivals play the rubber match of their three-game set.

Jay Bruce continues to torment the Phillies during his relatively short time with the Mets, recording his second multi-homer performance of the season while providing all of the offense in Wednesday's 5-4 triumph. The 30-year-old, who is 8-for-20 with 11 RBIs in five encounters with Philadelphia in 2017, has launched six of his 14 homers while wearing a New York uniform against manager Pete Mackanin's team. While the Mets are thrilled with Bruce's power surge, the Phillies are a bit flustered with Maikel Franco's power outage as he is mired in an 0-for-21 stretch in his last five games. The 24-year-old Dominican has seen his batting average dip to a paltry .148 as a result and is 2-for-19 with runners in scoring position, but is 3-for-9 in his career versus Syndergaard.

TV: 7:10 p.m. ET, CSN Philadelphia, SNY (New York)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Phillies RH Aaron Nola (1-0, 3.27 ERA) vs. Mets RH Noah Syndergaard (1-0, 0.95)

Although his team has dropped six of its last eight overall, Nola is singing an optimistic tune after showing signs of rebounding from a disastrous 2016 campaign by recording 13 strikeouts against two walks in 11 innings this season. The seventh overall pick of the 2014 draft, Nola settled for a no-decision on Friday despite allowing just one run on six hits and striking out six over five innings at Washington. The 23-year-old was roughed up in his lone meeting with the Mets as he was gashed for six runs on nine hits in four innings of a 9-4 setback on Sept. 2, 2015.

Syndergaard has been downright dominant by recording 20 strikeouts without walking a batter in 19 innings this season. The 24-year-old handcuffed the Phillies in a pair of seven-inning outings in 2016 to improve his career mark versus the club to 4-0 with a 1.37 ERA. Odubel Herrera and Cameron Rupp have struggled mightily against Syndergaard - going 1-for-12 with two strikeouts and 1-for-9 with five strikeouts, respectively.

WALK-OFFS

1. New York RHP Jeurys Familia is eligible to return following a 15-game suspension for domestic abuse.

2. Phillies RF Michael Saunders recorded his second straight two-hit performance in the series on Wednesday and third versus the Mets this season.

3. New York RF Curtis Granderson is 1-for-18 in his last five outings.

Preview: Orioles at Reds
GAME: Baltimore Orioles (9-4) at Cincinnati Reds (9-6)
DATE/TIME: Thursday, April 20 - 7:10 PM EST
WHERE: Great American Ball Park, Cincinnati, Ohio

Jonathan Schoop is swinging a hot bat for the Baltimore Orioles as the team has won five contests during his seven-game hitting streak to ascend to the top of the American League East. The 25-year-old Schoop looks to send the Orioles to their fourth series victory in five attempts this season on Thursday when they conclude their interleague set against the host Cincinnati Reds.

Schoop had an RBI single in Wednesday's 2-0 triumph to improve to 11-for-27 with two homers, seven RBIs and five runs scored during his hitting streak and is 3-for-6 in his career versus Thursday starter Scott Feldman. The National League Central-leading Reds have struggled at Great American Ball Park, going 2-4 on their current 10-game homestand to fall to 4-5 on the season in front of their home fans. Eugenio Suarez had one of his team's two singles on Wednesday and has hit safely in four straight and nine of his last 10. The 25-year-old Venezuelan hasn't been as fortunate in a small sample size versus Thursday starter Wade Miley, as he has struck out in all three plate appearances.

TV: 7:10 p.m. ET, MASN (Baltimore), FSN Ohio (Columbus)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Orioles LH Wade Miley (1-0, 2.45 ERA) vs. Reds RH Scott Feldman (1-1, 2.87)

Miley overcame a seven-walk season debut by recording both his first quality start and victory in his last outing on Friday. The 30-year-old allowed three runs on five hits over six innings and struck out eight without issuing a free pass in a 6-4 triumph at Toronto. Miley, who owns a 3-2 mark with a 4.25 ERA in six career starts against Cincinnati, is under the gun to produce after sputtering his way to a 6.17 ERA in 11 starts last season with Baltimore after being acquired at the trade deadline.

Feldman struggled with his control in his last outing, issuing five walks and seeing his pitch count balloon to 104 before exiting after five innings of a no-decision versus Milwaukee. The 34-year-old is seeking his first win at Great American Ball Park after taking the loss with the Cubs in 2013 as well as an Opening Day setback versus Philadelphia on April 3. Feldman owns a 5-2 career mark versus the Orioles, limiting Adam Jones to an .087 batting average in 23 career at-bats.

WALK-OFFS

1. Jones has hit safely in five straight games and 12 of 13 this season.

2. Cincinnati RF Scott Schebler is 0-for-8 with three strikeouts in the series.

3. Orioles LHP Zach Britton will undergo an MRI on Friday in Baltimore to assess his strained left forearm.

Preview: Nationals at Braves
GAME: Washington Nationals (9-5) at Atlanta Braves (6-8)
DATE/TIME: Thursday, April 20 - 7:35 PM EST
WHERE: SunTrust Park, Cumberland, Georgia

Freddie Freeman seemingly hits a lot of pitchers well, but he certainly causes some restless sleep for Washington Nationals star Stephen Strasburg. Freeman is a sizzling 14-for-35 with four home runs, three doubles and 13 RBIs against Strasburg and looks to continue his success when the Atlanta Braves finish a three-game series versus visiting Washington on Thursday.

Freeman hit his sixth homer of the season in Atlanta's 14-4 loss in the opener and is a scorching 8-for-9 with three blasts over his last three games to raise his average to a major league-leading .440. Washington's Bryce Harper is just as hot as he belted two homers (including a grand slam) and drove in five runs on Wednesday and is 9-for-12 with four shots and 10 RBIs over his last three contests. Ryan Zimmerman also slugged a grand slam as the Nationals racked up 20 hits while winning their third straight contest and sixth in eight games. The Braves' two losses to Washington occurred after they won their first four games at the recently opened SunTrust Park.

TV: 7:35 p.m. ET, MLB Network, MASN2 (Washington), FSN South (Atlanta)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Nationals RH Stephen Strasburg (1-0, 3.00 ERA) vs. Braves RH R.A. Dickey (1-1, 3.86)

Strasburg has experienced mixed results against the Braves, compiling an 8-8 record and 3.85 ERA in 23 career starts. The 28-year-old defeated Miami in his first start of the season before failing to record a decision in back-to-back turns against Philadelphia. Strasburg went 8-1 with a 3.00 ERA in 10 road starts last season, including a victory in his final outing at Turner Field - Atlanta's former ballpark.

Dickey defeated San Diego in his last outing, when he allowed two runs (both on solo homers) and seven hits over six innings. The 42-year-old is 4-7 with a 3.68 ERA in 16 career appearances (14 starts) against the Nationals but has faced them just once (a loss in 2015) over the last four-plus seasons. Dickey has fanned Harper (4-for-17) seven times but has struggled with Jayson Werth (13-for-27, two homers, three doubles).

WALK-OFFS

1. The Nationals are 30-9 against the Braves since the start of the 2015 season.

2. Werth (groin) departed Wednesday's game and his status for Thursday is uncertain.

3. Atlanta LF Matt Kemp (hamstring) played seven innings during a rehab stint on Wednesday and will rejoin the team for Thursday's finale.

Preview: Royals at Rangers
GAME: Kansas City Royals (7-7) at Texas Rangers (5-10)
DATE/TIME: Thursday, April 20 - 8:05 PM EST
WHERE: Globe Life Park in Arlington, Arlington, Texas

The Kansas City Royals are getting away with some sub-par efforts from their hitters thanks to a dominant pitching staff. The Royals' pitchers will try to run their streak of allowing fewer than three earned runs to seven straight games when they visit the Texas Rangers for the opener of a four-game series on Thursday.

Kansas City has won five of its last six games despite scoring more than three runs only once in that span, with Tuesday's 2-1 setback against San Francisco serving as the lone loss. Jason Vargas struck out nine and did not walk a batter over seven scoreless innings to outduel Madison Bumgarner in Wednesday's 2-0 triumph and hands the reins to Danny Duffy, who has yet to suffer a loss in 2017. The Rangers had their own problems scoring runs while dropping the final two contests of a three-game set at Oakland this week to cap a 3-6 road trip versus West Division rivals Los Angeles, Seattle and the Athletics. Texas is just 2-4 at home and will try to turn things around behind Andrew Cashner on Thursday.

TV: 8:05 p.m. ET, MLB Network, FSN Kansas City, FSN Southwest (Texas)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Royals LH Danny Duffy (2-0, 1.80 ERA) vs. Rangers RH Andrew Cashner (0-1, 5.06)

Duffy allowed two runs or fewer in each of his first three starts and held the Angels to one along with three hits while striking out six in seven innings on Friday. The World Baseball Classic champion is limiting opponents to a .203 batting average to help overcome seven walks in 20 frames. Duffy is just 1-1 with a 5.31 ERA in four career starts against Texas but earned a win on July 22 after allowing just one run in 6 2/3 innings.

Cashner began the campaign on the disabled list with tightness in his right biceps and could not get any support from his offense in a 5-0 loss on Saturday in his season debut. The veteran Texan allowed four runs - three earned - on five hits and three walks in 5 1/3 innings while striking out a pair. Kansas City's current roster is just 9-for-38 without a home run against Cashner.

WALK-OFFS

1. Rangers 3B Adrian Beltre (calf) did some light running on Wednesday but is not close to a return.

2. Royals C Salvador Perez is 5-for-12 over his last three games.

3. Texas 3B Joey Gallo hit a solo homer on Wednesday to snap a three-game hitless streak.

Preview: Cardinals at Brewers
GAME: St. Louis Cardinals (6-9) at Milwaukee Brewers (8-8)
DATE/TIME: Thursday, April 20 - 8:10 PM EST
WHERE: Miller Park, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

The St. Louis Cardinals are recovering from a putrid start and look to post their fourth consecutive victory when they open a four-game series at the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday. The Cardinals turned their fortunes around with three consecutive 2-1 victories in a sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates after opening the campaign with nine losses in 12 games.

Center fielder Dexter Fowler was just 8-for-56 with zero RBIs through the first 14 games but he supplied all the offense on Wednesday with two solo homers in the series-ending victory over the Pirates. "Don't get me wrong, it's tough, especially when you're battling out there and you're not getting what you want and we're losing and the whole nine," Fowler told reporters afterward, "but at the end of the day, it's a game and you've just got to keep that in perspective." Milwaukee dropped its last two games and Wednesday's 7-4 loss to the Chicago Cubs was particularly painful as the Brewers allowed four runs in the bottom of the ninth inning - the final three on Addison Russell's homer. The opener begins a stretch of 10 straight home games for Milwaukee, which is just 2-5 at Miller Park.

TV: 8:10 p.m. ET, FSN Midwest (St. Louis), FSN Wisconsin Plus (Milwaukee)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Cardinals RH Carlos Martinez (0-2, 3.57 ERA) vs. Brewers RH Zach Davies (0-2, 8.79)

Martinez is coming off an odd outing in which he struck out 11, walked a career-high eight and allowed three runs (two earned) and four hits over 5 1/3 innings in a loss to the New York Yankees. The 25-year-old issued just one total walk in his first two starts to further compound the uneven performance. Martinez excelled against Milwaukee last season with a 3-0 mark and 1.38 ERA in four starts and has limited the Brewers to a .223 average in 19 career appearances (eight starts).

Davies struggled through his first three starts with a 2.02 WHIP while allowing opponents to bat a collective .344. The 24-year-old has yet to pitch more than five innings and his best outing was his last, when he gave up three runs and five hits in five innings in a no-decision against the Cincinnati Reds. Davies is 1-0 with a 1.66 ERA in three career starts against the Cardinals but has been torched by third baseman Jedd Gyorko (5-for-8, one homer).

WALK-OFFS

1. The Cardinals are 61-30 against the Brewers since the beginning of the 2012 season.

2. Milwaukee 3B Travis Shaw has homered in back-to-back games and three of the last four.

3. St. Louis 1B Matt Carpenter (right hand) went 1-for-4 on Wednesday after missing the previous two games.

Preview: Diamondbacks at Padres
GAME: Arizona Diamondbacks (10-6) at San Diego Padres (6-10)
DATE/TIME: Thursday, April 20 - 9:10 PM EST
WHERE: Petco Park, San Diego, California

Rookie center fielder Manuel Margot figures to return to the starting lineup Thursday as the San Diego Padres face the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks in the rubber match of their three-game series. The slumping Margot sat for the first time Wednesday but contributed a pinch-hit single as the Padres snapped their five-game losing streak with a 1-0 win over the Diamondbacks.

Along with right fielder Hunter Renfroe, Margot is expected to be a key part of the rebuilding effort in San Diego. The 22-year-old has recorded two hits and one walk in his last 18 plate appearances but already has pushed his way into the National League Rookie of the Year discussion with a .262 average, three home runs and six RBIs. While San Diego is experimenting with several rookies and three Rule 5 selections, Arizona possesses a veteran lineup led offensively by Paul Goldschmidt and Jake Lamb, who has reached base safely in 14 consecutive games. The Diamondbacks are 4-5 on their 10-game road trip and received an encouraging outing Wednesday from Zack Greinke, who threw a complete game and held the Padres to five hits with six strikeouts.

TV: 9:10 p.m. ET, MLB Network, FSN Arizona, FSN San Diego

PITCHING MATCHUP: Diamondbacks LH Patrick Corbin (1-2, 2.81 ERA) vs. Padres LH Clayton Richard (1-2, 3.60)

Corbin allowed five runs - three earned - and nine hits over six innings in Saturday’s 8-4 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The 27-year-old posted a 3.95 ERA in five games (one start) against San Diego last season and has gone 3-4 with a 3.54 ERA in 11 career appearances (six starts) versus the Padres. Corbin has had his difficulties with Hector Sanchez, who has recorded seven hits in 13 at-bats.

Richard tossed eight scoreless innings in his season debut against the Dodgers but has struggled in his last two outings, allowing a total of nine runs - eight earned - over 12 frames in back-to-back losses. The 33-year-old has pitched well in his career against Arizona, going 8-3 with a 3.97 ERA in 13 starts. Yasmany Tomas is 4-for-7 with a home run against Richard, who has posted a 2.95 ERA in 58 career games (56 starts) at Petco Park.

WALK-OFFS

1. San Diego 1B Wil Myers is 16-for-39 with two home runs and seven RBIs during his 10-game hitting streak.

2. Arizona RHP Archie Bradley is riding a career-high 13 1/3-inning scoreless streak.

3. The Padres placed Jarred Cosart on the 10-day disabled list with a right hamstring strain and recalled fellow RHP Kevin Quackenbush from Triple-A El Paso.

Preview: Mariners at Athletics
GAME: Seattle Mariners (7-9) at Oakland Athletics (7-8)
DATE/TIME: Thursday, April 20 - 10:05 PM EST
WHERE: Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, California

Seattle left-hander James Paxton hasn't been scored on in his first three starts and strives for another solid performance when the Mariners visit the Oakland Athletics in Thursday's opener of a four-game series. Paxton allowed just eight hits and four walks while striking out 22 in 21 innings during the flawless outings.

The Mariners produced a season high for runs scored in Wednesday's 10-5 victory over the Miami Marlins and won five of their past six games. Right fielder Mitch Haniger continues to swing a hot bat and went 3-for-4 with four RBIs to extend his hitting streak to 13 games. Oakland also recorded a season best for runs in Wednesday's 9-1 victory over the Texas Rangers as left fielder Khris Davis slugged his seventh homer to tie for the major-league lead. Davis has gone deep three times in the past five games as he attempts to follow up last season's career-high 42-homer campaign.

TV: 10:05 p.m. ET, MLB Network, ROOT (Seattle), NBC Sports California Plus (Oakland)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Mariners LH James Paxton (2-0, 0.00 ERA) vs. Athletics RH Cesar Valdez (NR)

Paxton was just 6-7 with a 3.79 ERA in 20 starts last season but did record nearly five times as many strikeouts (117) as walks (24). The 28-year-old has long been viewed as a future standout by the Mariners but injuries have curtailed his progress and last season's 121 innings are his most since he reached the majors in 2013. Paxton is 2-0 with a 2.75 ERA in three career starts against the Athletics.

Valdez is making his third major-league start and is appearing in a big-league game for the first time since June 10, 2010 when he was a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 32-year-old went 1-2 with a 7.65 ERA and 1.95 WHIP in nine appearances (two starts) during the 2010 stint. Valdez was signed by Oakland as a minor-league free agent last November and was 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA at Triple-A Nashville when recalled to start for injured Kendall Graveman.

WALK-OFFS

1. The Mariners won 12 of their past 13 games in Oakland.

2. Athletics CF Rajai Davis had two hits and scored twice on Wednesday after being hitless in nine at-bats over his previous three games.

3. Seattle SS Jean Segura (hamstring) could begin a rehab stint on Thursday and is expected to rejoin the Mariners in Detroit on Tuesday.
