does anyone trust The Sports Monitor?
I hadn't checked it in a long time and out of curiosity just went by.
On the baseball season totals page there is a column that has $100. On that line is that supposed to be what the tout is up if i played all their plays at just 100 and not varying from 1 to 5 or whatever it is that most have you do, or want you to do i should say?
If so , there are quite a few up over 2 grand and don't look like they play an enormous card each day judging by their season record. That doesn't seem all that bad if they offered a season package for 500 or less.
I don't know i've never paid for tout picks cause i like to pick my own losers, but like anyone i am always curious to find someone hot and see if i agree with what they are on and/or if they are on a play i'm already on.

I took a look at it when i looked at teddy covers home page and it showed number one on the sports monitor, looks to be pretty legit i have been following covers, rocketman, vegas runner, and maddux because they are the ones listed on that page that people usually post in the service play section. Rocketman so far for me has gone 2 - 0, Covers is something like 3 - 3 or maybe 4 - 3 but his big ticket plays usually cash, i dont agree with some of maddux's plays and choose not to play them but they are decent im just not sure about how many professional handicappers they actually follow there are probably a lot out there that are doing a lot better but that is my 2 cents this was actually a good question because i was about to ask the same things. If anybody else knows more please respond beacsue i think its interesting and good to know what cappers are legit and who arn't!

If you have not been folllowing him recently, he is chasing big time. Down huge in the last month, thought he was over his cold steak, had a disaster Monday and Tuesday so he chased with 3 300* last night and lost 2 of them. Just an FYI for the unfamiliar.

0-2 this afternoon with Det already down 2 runs. ICE COLD Expect tomorrow to see him pushin 500* plays. I layed off this afternoon but anyone who has been fading seabass over the past month is way ahead. Or as Seabass says " if you're playing $100 per star you would be up a million dollars."

because there are no documented records of this capper that i know of. they arent posted with the picks so it's unpossible to know how good a service is doing. IMO the biggest flaw with these threads...and with touts in general. no records

I agree sdf. I usually prefer to only go with monitored spots, at least the SportsBoss puts all his picks up on his site after the games start. Some of these other clowns are crazy. anyways good luck everyone tonight; dont want to clog the thread up with chatter.

i know according to that site Maddux is up, but i don't trust that cause i was jotting down their plays most days they were posted at the beginning of the season and they were horrible.
the site has them only 8 games over .500 at 115/107, but yet they are up $773 at 100 a play, or $7730 if you use the units ranking.
they would have to play nothing but dogs to achieve + money at only 8 games over .500 and having played over 200 games, and i know i've seen a lot of chalk plays posted by them this season.
