Only game I like in week one. Miami coming off first lose in 2 years. La tech may have the worst defense in the WAC(and that is saying something). La Tech has a good QB but Miami in the past has been awesome against the pass. Maybe wrong here but don't think this is the same La Tech team of 2 years ago. Do not like the fact that Miami seems to let up after they are ahead, but this seems like a total mismatch. Maybe wrong and this is probably the most points I will ever lay but we shall see. By the way wouldn't play the game over -28.

looking at a few so far for second round.

koubek +260 vs gonzalez (5dimes) using "ball served" book here because i don't trust gonzalez' knee. (note +280 at pinn). i make this match a lot closer than the price even if i thought gonzalez was 100%, he has been forced to retire 4 times this year including 3 weeks ago in montreal. koubek is also 2-0 vs him, both on hardcourts.

hrbaty +275 over srichiphan (pinn) here's another where the h2h favors the dog (2-1) also srichi has played a lot of tennis over the past 3 weeks (over 160 games if i counted right) so despite the form demonstrated last week at longisland, he could be tiring. he was in similar form last year, also off a win at long island, and was beaten here in the 2nd rd by rusedski.

lee +750 over hewitt. (pinn) taking a shot here, do not want to back hewitt and don't want to miss the boat when he goes down.

2 favorites i like are stepanek and verdasco, will parlay them for a little better than even money(+110)

one for friday might want to look at early, tursunov over van lottum. -123 at pin now, a lot of people high on this russian kid now and rightfully so. van lottum got by fellow clay courter c.rochus in rd 1 but look for the young russian to give him trouble.
