Not sure that taking all the Jet cast-offs will make the skins a better team.

Having Vinny start is not like Pennington back there, but he knows the offense and he knows what to do with the ball. This should raise the stock of Wayne Chrebet, as he was Vinney's favorite target a few year back. Jets still have Martin and Jordan in the backfield and should have no trouble running and/or controling the clock on a skins D that hasn't stoped the run ever in this century. I think that will continue.

Ramsey the "strong armed" QB that is inconsistent and still makes crusial mistakes with the ball in a Spurier designed offense that requires 'masterful' timing that the skins have yet to show. They have been downgraded at RB with the loss of Stephen Davis, as Candidate may be faster but isn't nearly as good (in my opinion). Wideouts should be improved, at least I hope Rod Gardner has a big game as I started him on my fantasy team.

Jets D hasn't stoped the run lately either, but should have an easier time with that against this version of the skins.

Jets have Santana Moss on special teams which should give them a bit of an edge.
Skins have home-field, and half of the old Jets roster.
Jets have the 'Herm'-inator on the sideline (good motivator)
Skins have Spurrier. (Good college coach)

This could be a close game. I think I will take the Jets and the 3 points in a small play to sit back and enjoy this one.
Hell, I'll throw a couple bucks on the over, both as a hedge and because that 'fun and gun' offense might kick in one of these days and put some crooked numbers up on the board.

GL tonight.
