50 years from now, there is gonna be a military handbook with something like this:

Do not stand next to prisoners and pose for pictures with the "thumbs-up" gesture.

And the recruits are gonna think "Huh? Now why the hell would I do something moronic like that? Why did they even bother putting this in our handbook?"

For every stupid rule/policy you've encountered in your life, there was probably a stupid person who made the rule/policy necessary!
