The world we live in is fucked up. Why anyone would want to have kids and subject them to live in this world is beyond me. You go through life basically going through pain. You have to endure being hurt physically, emotionally, and every which way. Everyone here will lose numerous people close to them including their parents, siblings, kids, friends, and other family members. Lose them to horrific things like traffic accidents, murders, homicides, suicides, cancer, beatings, atomic bombs, mining accidents, hurricanes, dick cut off in blender and bleed to death, earthquakes, lightning strikes, tornados, tsunamis, great white attacks, car bombings, AIDS eating away at them until they develop numerous other infections and tumors and on and on. Those that die maybe are fortunate but some survive and have to live as a vegetable or without limbs or fucked up beyond belief only to endure more pain, ridicule, and suffering. The movie the Green Mile made an interesting point. Maybe to die is a good thing. To live longer and to suffer is much worse than dying.
How about people with serious genetic abnormalities and have to live life like that. Those with xeroderma pigmentosa who cannot go out in sunlight. Those with Downs syndrome who not only have a low IQ but numerous other problems and die early from a whole host of problems. How about those poor people of Japan who had an atomic bomb dropped on them or the Jews who were killed in ovens, or the people in Africa today dying in cival wars, or being a slave and being beaten. How about our troops in Iraq getting blown away by suicide bombers. Is this world fuckin incredible or what?
Why would anyone want to have kids? Someone thats a part of them and who they care about. Bringing them into this world so they can get prostate cancer at 50 (if they arent run over by a car when they are 7 while playing street football) and have it spread to their bone.
Now sure there are good things. Like oral sex from a hot chick and giving her a facial. Or being with friends and family. Or watching your kid grow up. Or going on vacation. Or drinking a beer and watching sports. However, does the good outweigh the bad that much to justify saying, WOW LIFE IS Incredible?
