Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte is pushing to return from a sprained MCL. Forte was "limited" in practice on Wednesday, but is on the road to recovery. Forte and rookie Jeremy Langford would give the Bears a potent 1-2 punch in the backfield Sunday vs. Denver, if Forte is cleared to play.

The NFL announced that Redskins running back Silas Redd was suspended for four games by the NFL for violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy. The suspension takes place immediately. Redd is on injured reserve so he won't get paid for the next four weeks.
