This is from a class at a major university talking about the Federalist Papers and what they were about and their implication today.

I mean, if the legislative branch gets ridiculously powerful and starts passing whatever laws they want, it's great that the executive branch can be like "ummmm no" and not enforce them.

And, finally, I believe we still see examples of problems Madison feared today. Despite the checks and balances, the balance of our government still gets out of whack sometimes. I mean, look at the PATRIOT Act.

I believe that shit. When we were doing peer reviews in my freshmen English class...holy shit. I thought I was on IM. These dudes were writing the way they speak. Grammar was on thing but content...forget about it. Ideas were all over the place. I used to hate doing reviews.
