I've realized that I'm quite good at diagnosing NFL lines and I do well when I focus on a limited amount of games.

This is less about making it big, but more about helping out fellow gamblers. Living in a city that's infested with casinos, I can't tell you how many poor souls live in the local sportsbook gambling every cent they have on crazy favorites with ridiculous lines.

I've also witnessed wild inconsistency from touts, I personally purchased Sports Insights for the year and he's been veyr hit or miss. At the beginning of the season he was downright awful, now he is doing better.

My goal is to have competitive pricing to sustain my betting tools - say a couple hundred dollars a season - this in order to keep a high winning %.

Strengths are NFL and Basketball

Could you guys give me some tips?

Yes, do not go pro.
Do you know how many touts are out there?
Hundreds.

What makes you think the degenerates that are in need of a tout are going to go to you, a start up newbie, over an established tout.
You are going to need start up money for website and such just to get your name out there.

Where are your picks documented? are they monitored?
If not, what is your sales pitch? "Hi, I am new at this tout game, but give me a chance to prove myself, just send me $199 a month, and I will prove myself"
See how big that goes over.

If you're so good then bet your own games, make mad cash and donate to charity to help all those poor souls you're so worried about.

My sales pitch is that I'm not here to steal money, I'm here to help the consumer. I'm going to treat you as a buddy that I want to help out gambling, competitive pricing and all - I won't bet every game like most touts just to give out action. If I give you a game its cause I have money on it.

Dude, do you think that any tout doesn't have that same pitch?

Tired of losing? Bet with me, CowboyT!!! I'm not really here to help, I'm here for your money! I could care less if you win or lose, because I don't know you! My prices are more than the other service across the street, but that's okay, because I bet every game by throwing a dart at a board!!! When I give you a pick, it's not really because I like it, it's because it's on TV and I know that you want action on the televised games!!! For only an investment of $500, you can have the whole season. A premium package for an extra $200 gives you the rest of the world series!!!

You want free NFL picks, go to the Marty J contest, follow Bucsfan, or any of the other leaders, the contest is your one and only best bet for the NFL week.
There is your free service, why should we pay a tout.

Your edge in the already competitive market would be to offer something others don't....a legit guarantee. Make the deal that you will refund the initial investment of the pay for plays plus, say 20%, out of your pocket. This my friend would prove not only do you have a backbone, but a true talent in capping games. Most of the the spineless, shit-eating, touts are below scum of the earth. I would say if a tout wants to be successful and not just a scam artist, they need to put their money where their mouth is.

It is that easy.

Good idea but how would that work. Everyone loses some games...If I don't do well throughout the season I think I sould refund the investment. But what if I win a lot but lose here and there?

He isn't saying based on 1 game.

The fact that you are even asking this, tells me you don't know the basics of business or being a tout.

for starters offer to meet in person...as an fucktard who hhas bought picks before i can tell you that i wish i could have met the "expert" and had him convince me to my face how knowledgable he was...anyone can read a script....

give your first 10 picks away for FREE...if you are doing the capping work, how would it hurt to give a sample out...you show positive after 10 games someone might listen...

offer a partnership instead of just asking to be paid...find out the unit size of your customer (thats what she said) and take a small %...
