My thoughts would be about the same as barman's....

Personally if I was going to press the issue and question them to see what they knew, I would probably wait until they were both at the kitchen table.....and then drop the box on the table and ask "How the fvck did this get bent up?".......

Just tell the piss ant that you have a detective friend and your gonna have prints lifted off the box and matched to his prints off the glass he used the other day...
