If you have the time/interest to read books I highly recommend Douglas Adam's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy of books.
Also if you have Tween-aged kids or family, friends who have kids I'd recommend you encourage kids to read these books.
A Movie (or more than one) was made from the books but the books are infinitely better which is not to say the movie(s) are "bad" but just, as is often the case, the books are way to good to translate as well onto screen.
They are actually 5 Books total in the series, "a trilogy in five parts", described as a trilogy on the release of the third book, and then a "trilogy in four parts" on the release of the fourth book. The US edition of the fifth book was originally released with the legend "The fifth book in the increasingly inaccurately named Hitchhiker's Trilogy" on the cover. Subsequent re-releases of the other novels bore the legend "The [first, second, third, fourth] book in the increasingly inaccurately named Hitchhiker's Trilogy". In addition, the blurb on the fifth book describes the book as "the book that gives a whole new meaning to the word 'trilogy'".
Douglas Adams was among the greatest, most imaginative & creative writers that ever lived. He took it to a whole new level.
