NYC requires all players to be vaccinated to play indoor pro sports. Kyrie is not going to get the vaccine. So this guy is going to simply blow up the Nets chances of winning a title. It would not surprise me if he retired. Another solution would be to trade him to a Western Conference team then the only way he would miss games in the playoffs is if the Nets made it to the Finals but they won't without Kyrie. If you trade him in the East he would miss any games against the Knicks or Nets. Trade him to the Sixers for Ben Simmons. This would create the ultimate situation. The Nets meet the Sixers in the playoffs and Kyrie sits out the Brooklyn games enabling the Nets to win the series. I can tell you this much Kyrie won't cave. He takes off whenever he wants. He is in fact the de facto GM of the Nets. Basically controls the team. Decides who he wants as head coach, who the team trades for and when he plays.

Kyrie is an idiot but NYC and NY State are absolutely incompetent or doing-it-on-purpose at managing the virus... ruining businesses, schools, jobs, and lives with these outrageous mandates. Governor Cuomo was run off (fired), his fill in Governor might be even worse. NYC Mayor Deblasio is maybe the worst in the USA.
