The Tiger Woods documentary on HBO is outstanding

Really outlined the price of fame and not dealing with your issues until they catch up with you. I had kind of almost forgotten about all the shit he went through, but this really showed just about everything in his life. Deeply troubled man....I can't imagine that kind of non-stop attention and adoration of who they think you are. He admitted many times that he was never comfortable with it. Not to mention the crazy father he had, proclaiming him as the Messiah.

I think part one was enough, but that probably would not have sold so they had to add the salacious stuff. Story was kind of sad, but it was great to relive some of those fantastic moments. Could have lived without any word uttered by any of the whores.

I thought it was funny they tried to act like the whores were a central part of the story. No one remembered who any of them were like a week or two after that story dropped. Their 15 minutes were immediately up.

Will never forget my Tiger Woods encounter in 2002. He was at the height of his career. Leaving the Mandalay Bay nightclub (forget the name) on a Saturday night. It's about 2:45am.
As I spill back onto the casino floor I see a crowd of people in the distance. I make my way over and its a craps table. Easily 5 rows of people deep. I see a huge 6'9 guy w/ long hair and a beard. Thought it was a professional wrestler. Instead it was a body guard. As I make my way around I can see playing was Tiger Woods He was playing a reserved table with 2 other friends. On each side he was flanked by 4 of the hottest blondes in the place. He's in a black turtle neck with a platinum link chain around his neck. Lost count trying to gauge an how much he was playing with. In no way did he resemble Tiger we we're all accustomed to seeing on TV.

Then again could you blame the guy? Single, had sports media in the palm of his hands. More money than he could ever spend. Was standing there in disbelief of the whole scene.
