I am not saying this to disagree with your position, but here are a couple things to consider;
1) Pedro Martinez is a far better pitcher with more rest. It will be 5 days since he pitched 1 inning relief in NY and 7 days since his last start.
2) Weather is warm in STL, Pedro greatly prefers and pitches better in warmer weather
3) Boston has a pretty good defensive team ( yes, I'm serious). That they have made a ton of errors and gotton away with it does not imply they will continue to make a lot of errors. They will probably play fair to good defense the rest of the series.
