I will start. These are complex carb & Protein Muffins.
4 Cups Oatmeal (The healthy one, not instant or flavored).
4 Scoops whey protein (I use MRM protein, but most any will do. Watch sugar content)
3 Cups water.

Blend it in the blender until it is like cake batter. Then pour into cupcake pan. Makes 12 (1 pan). Each has 18 Carbs, 8 Grams Protein, and only 2 grams of fat (most of it poly and mono). Enjoy. And please share those healthy recipes.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 (16 ounce) package angel hair pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

DIRECTIONS:

Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain Heat oil in a large skillet. Add the garlic, and cook for 1 minute. Add the spinach and the cooked pasta. Mix well, and cook for approximately 2 minutes, stirring often. Serve.
Add chicken to this dish and its still a fat free, health meal thats really good for you.

How many minutes do you bake them for and at what temp? Sounds good though, might have to try em.

Portobello Pizza

4 whole Portobella mushroom caps (about 5” each), stemmed removed
1/2 cup low fat marinara sauce
1/2 cup lean turkey Italian sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled
4 tablespoons shredded fat free or low fat mozzarella cheese
2 teaspoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Wipe the mushrooms clean of any dirt. Place them on a baking sheet, gill side up. Spoon sauce over each cap, then sprinkle on sausage and cheeses. Place in the oven and bake for 6 to 8 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Garnish with fresh basil. Serve immediately.

Where is the best place to buy whey protein for cheap? Internet? I like your idea budworth of those muffins and gonna give them a try.

Banna Fudge Smoothie

1½ cups very cold nonfat milk or soymilk
½ cup soft silken tofu
2 ripe medium bannanas, frozen and cut into 1-inch chuncks
2 tablespoons unsweetened natural cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of honey
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Makes 4 3/4 cup servings.

Protein: 6g
Calories: 119
This is really good to curb your sweet tooth. Great on a hot day

I tin of tuna in a blender with mango juice.... healthy .. yes..... Mental Hell bloody yeh!

I tried some of these pancakes yesterday(very good), recipe is by Dr. Del Millers:

Banana Oatmeal Egg-White Pancakes

1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup old fashioned oatmeal
1 tsp. baking powder
6 egg whites
3/4 cup soy milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 medium banana, thinly chopped
Olive oil or canola oil non-fat spray

1. Combine in a bowl: flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg.
2. Combine egg whites, soy milk and vanilla extract in a blender and whip.
3. Evenly stir blended mixture and chopped bananas in bowl with flour and oats and let sit for 1 minute.
4. Pour batter onto hot, lightly sprayed griddle or skillet.
5. Cook until tiny bubbles form on top of pancakes, then turn over (approximately 1-2 minutes on each side).
6. Serve pancakes hot with fruit preserve.

Makes 1-2 servings

Add some finely chopped vanilla granola with the bananas...it will add some crunch and enhance the overall taste..:suomi:
