Real Madrid vs. Granada

This is a very large play for me. I have been waiting for this match and it is ripe for the picking. Enjoy!!!

It’s no real revelation that Real Madrid is having a poor start to the season. Ironically this match is between two bottom feeders of the table. LOL. What is also ironic is that both teams have a goal differential of -1.

I fully expect Real Madrid to slam Granada with goals today. They are playing a match following a very difficult series against Barcelona. The level of competition will be significantly less. RM will either start strong or finish strong, but either way they will win big at home.

Real should be able to net 4 goals on their own however if Granada scores one I won’t complain either, however this is very doubtful.

Regardless of the poor start to the season Real is in a good mood after winning the Super Cup against their rivals Barcelona; so I fully expect them to continue with good playmaking and they should be more focused in La Liga now that the Super Cup is in the bag.

They are very offensive minded and it is also evident that their defense is weak so I expect an aggressive Real Madrid team to show up today to compensate for this fact and to boost the moral of their faithful even more.

Last year the result was 5-1 for Real vs. Granada at home and I expect something similar today.

Last year 15 of 19 home matches went over the total for Real Madrid.

Sevilla vs. Mallorca

3:30pm ET

When I was looking at this match up I couldn’t help but notice that they have exact records and that it almost matched up in goals for and against too.

Another interesting similarity shows up in the fact that their only two losses occurred in their last two matches.

Both clubs had overs in their first matches of the season and then all the others were under with the exception of one of their last two matches and both those had red cards issued in them assisting in the over.

· We have two teams with 5 Unders and 2 Overs.

· Sevilla should be 3-0 at home but the two late goals in the match against Barcelona as a result of a RED CARD killed that win. (The Referee FIX was in for this match – Guaranteed)

· Mallorca has trouble winning on the road and has received a RED CARD in each of their road matches this season.

· Something to keep in mind is that Sevilla have not played a competitive match since Oct 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]. They had a Friendly against Coria CF. (a lower Div. Team) on Oct 7[SUP]th.[/SUP]

· Both teams average a total of 2 Goals a match and I cannot see this number changing today.

I anticipate a DRAW 0-0 or a 1-0 victory for Sevilla in what should be a tight mistake free match with few critical shots on goal.

Anzhi vs. Liverpool

Thursday November 8, 2012
12:00pm ET

Liverpool’s Team traveling to Russia:
Jones, Wisdom, Carragher, Coates, Robinson, Shelvey, Henderson, Cole, Downing, Yesil, Assaidi, Gulacsi, Ward, Flanagan, Sama, Wilson, Coady, Suso, Morgan.

Get the message???

No lucky chance and No fix is going to stop Anzhi from destroying Liverpool today.

Anzhi have not conceded a goal at home in European Competitions this season and they have won all four matches. They played the Reds at Anfield two weeks ago and against a full Liverpool squad to boot and lost 1-0. In fact Anzhi had a GD of +10 scoring 11 goals and only conceding 1 goal in five previous matches before the Liverpool loss. Before the loss to the Reds they were UNDEFEATED in Europe this season with 4 Wins and 1 Draw.

By fielding a squad of this low caliber of players who are due to be traded at the transfer window signifies that they are focus on the EPL. Liverpool is set to arrive home early in the morning Friday and Rodgers does not want his first team tired for the Chelsea match this weekend.

Liverpool has only scored a total of six goals in their last six matches, with 2 Wins, 3 Draws and 2 Losses. The Chelsea match is critical and they will give up this match if need be. They have Young Boys at home on the docket and that will or should be 3 points in the bag for them.

Now many of you out there recall the Young Boys match back in September in which Liverpool scored 5 goals on the road against them with a similar squad…..well I don’t expect Anzhi to take this 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] team lightly as YB did and defensively Anzhi is a much, much better team than YB.

It’s going to be 50 Degrees Fahrenheit and rainy in Makhachkala at game time, not a comfortable travel destination and environment for any team.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE EUROPA LEAGUE (Platini stated that 30% of Matches are fixed in EL) BUT I CANNOT IGNORE THIS MIS-MATCH TODAY.

· Anzhi has 9 Wins and 1 Draw in their last 10 Home Matches.

· Anzhi has Won their last 8 Home Matches in all Competitions.

there is/was only about 7 investigation about match fixing in EUROPA...imagine how many were just not caught/considered. Maybe you don't know who Platini is??????? haha.... I think most EUROPA matches are safe but certainly skipping Eastern European matches is a wise move...since russia is in Asia you should be okay..haha...any bet against liverpool looks like a winner to me. Blackburn Rovers vs. Cardiff City

Blackburn have yet to show any improvement under new manager Henning Berg and he has yet to win a match on home soil since taking over the reins. Rovers are not that great a threat at home with a record of 5W-4L-1D and each of their victories has been by only one goal.

Cardiff is leading the table at the moment in spite of a weak away record and the only reason they top the table is because they have managed to win 90% of their home games.

I originally liked the Bluebirds in this match at a PICK (DNB) but after considering their away record these two teams balance each other out; I found no advantage taking a side.

Only 10 points separate these two clubs. Cardiff has only won 30% of their road matches and Blackburn leads the league in draws with 25% of ALL matches this season resulting in a no decision.

Hamburg vs. Hoffenheim

There has been a key change in the Hoffenheim camp this week with the sacking of their manager Babbel. Based on what I have been reading in the German press releases he wasn’t very well liked by the players and that should give them a bit of a lift knowing he is gone for good. There is no replacement at the moment with a caretaker manager role being filled by one of the coaches.

Hoffenheim have the distinction of having conceded the most goals of any side thus far in the Bundesliga season. They have conceded 19 Goals at home, 17 Goals on the road and lead the league with 36 Conceded in Total. Worst defensive team in the BL and things don’t look like they are going to change this week either. On a positive note, The Hoff have scored more goals then Hamburg.

Hoff need a win really badly and should be motivated. However, I can’t see how one week under new management and it’s only an internal temporary position will make them defend better.

Hamburg has had ZERO Draws at home all season and Hoff have only had 1 Draw on the road. This tells us a lot about the mentality that both sides have a need to go for the win and not settle. In fact, I don’t expect Hoff to sit back after the sacking and they are known as a counter attacking team.

Hamburg should have no trouble scoring on a weak defensive side at home considering Hoff have given up at least 2 Goals in every one of their away losses this season. Plus, Hoff should be good for at least one goal on motivation alone.

There has been at least 1 Goal scored in the first half of every Hoff away match and in 4 of 7 Hamburg home matches this season.

Bayern Munich vs. Greuter Furth
9:30am ET

TheGerman Bundesliga is back from its Christmas break this weekend. This match is between the bottom feeders and the elite of the Bundesliga.

Last season the break was a bad one for Bayern as they stumbled out of the gate losing 3-1 to Monchengladbach but I don’t expect that to happen today. This year during the break they played four friendlies and won all four scoring 14 goals without conceding any.

Greuter Furth last and only win in the Bundesliga was the second match of the season against Mainz. They will be relegated after only advancing this season and Bayern has already beaten them 0-3 on the road in the first match of the year. Furth has the worst offense in the league with 11 goals and they will be facing the best offense in the league with 44 goals in 17 matches.

With Robben back and Furth playing at the Alianz Arena which holds 52,000 more spectators then their home ground; Furth will be shell shocked by a team desperate to start the second half in front of their fans with a HUGE win. I really like this one.

16 shots so far and only one goal. Let's hope they can improve that percentage in the second half. No Robben really hurts.

Borussia Dortmund vs. Eintracht Frankfurt

***I’m not sure why Dortmund is such huge favorites for this match.***

It’s not as if they are crushing opponents on home soil or Frankfurt are missing key players. In fact, only two points separate these two teams in the standings.

Here are some important points to consider:

· Dortmund has played 10 matches at home this season and won the first three but have since crapped out only earning 8 points out of a possible 21 points in 7 matches with a 2W-2D-3L record.

· Another negative for Dortmund is the suspension on their #1 scorer Robert Lewandowski who received a red card (’31 min.) in last week’s 1-4 loss to Hamburger.

· Let’s go one step further…. Dortmund are playing this match three days after travelling to the Ukraine to play Shakhtar Donetsk in a CL match which they finished 2-2 and Lewandowski scored.

· Finally, in Dortmund’s last seven matches they have only covered the handicap once, losing five and pushing once.

Head-to-Head in their last five meetings Frankfurt has won twice, Dortmund has won once and they have drawn twice. They had a 3-3 draw in Frankfurt last September and that’s what I am expecting today.

Tough hole to climb out of for Eintrecht, down 0-2 before the 10 minute mark.

Second goal was offside but what we need to key in on is the defenders that kept giving BD the ball begging them to score, then the high line allowing them through. LOL.

The real Franfurt showed up after 2-0. It may be a 1st half FIX then a draw. I'm very curious since match fixing is my thing. Exposing them that is.

Lots of football left.

Marco Reus completes the hat trick. 3-0 to Borussia. Amazing they can not even come close to containing him alone, this would have been far worse if they had to worry about Lewandowski too!

If you get your 3-3 draw, I'll believe that the fix is in!
