NOTES pertaining to Monday's MLB card

*Boston Red Sox for past two seasons, when playing After Scoring 4orless runs in previous two games are 14-2 (11-5 at -1.5)

Since Apr 14, Red Sox have played nine games in which they entered having lost the previous two games. In those nine, they're 8-1 with all eight wins by 2+ runs.

*Chicago WhiteSox this season playing Home After Allowing 6+ in a home game are 13-4 (10-7 at -1.5). Roll it back into last May and they're 28-10 (22-16 at -1.5)

*TB Rays have not won four consecutive games this season when all were Away. Last season, they did it twice in five opportunities, with those fourth wins at Baltimore and at Pittsburgh - both bottom tier teams at the time. In neither of those cases did they proceed to win a fifth straight (potential relation to Tuesday's game if Rays pull a win tonight).

*Atlanta Braves are now 11-32 this season in Home games when graded at -1.5

When playing Home After Scoring 6+ in previous game, they're 8-6, but only three of those wins beat the -1.5

*San Francisco are now 31-14 this season in Away games when graded at +1.5 -- When playing After an AwayWin, they're 14-5 at +1.5

Head to head past 11 between these two clubs, ATL has beaten the -1.5 just once.

*Cincinnati Reds, when playing After Allowing 3orless runs are now 9-27.

I think we catch the friendly looking price for LAD home game due to speculation J Schmidt does not work out in his first start since 2007. Likely not a problem as the Reds offense is below average and in the event Schmidt seems hinky, in comes the hefty Dodger bullpen. Meanwhile, the Bums have got to be about to pop a 7+ pop on someone and if they get to Reds pen before the sixth, tonight could be the night.

Lost 1.6 Eunichs yesterday. Snakebit with AZ/HOU/KC all brutal beats with big Dogs. Thread Record -5.55 Units at 16-20. Bunch of 17-0 Stats tonight hopefully not to grow a [1] on the end of them. Since Fletcher opened his raincoat in this thread I can't win!!!

METS +115

MILW -105

CUBS +105

UNDER 9-115 hos vs stl

AZ +140

CSOX +100

Mets -- This is one of 3 "HUH?" lines tonight and the only one I'm playing. The worst team in MLB is favored, and 5-25 off 2+ Losses if the last one was by 5 or more Runs. The other weird lines are SD near Pick vs FLA and the Angels 40 cents below what they should be at KC. That Line STINKS!!!

MILW -105 -- Brewers have beaten the Bucs 17 straight times.

CUBS +105 -- Phils are 0-7 at Home when on a Winning Streak of 5 Games or longer since 5-10-06.

UNDER hou/stl -- Astros have gone UNDER 17 in a row with 2 Pushes in Game #1 of a Homestand.

CSOX -- TB is killing me but they're playing a Major League team now. TB is 3-17 since 9/17/05 on the Road off 2 or more Road Wins if in their previous 2 games they allowed a combined 6 Runs or less.

AZ -- DBacks are 15-7 in Game #1 of Rd Srs if off Rd Srs. COL 2-5 when DeLarosa throws at Home after a Win.

Extra Notes: MLB on another UNDER streak, 37 of 52 since the ASB.

The last 4 years the Yankees came storming out in the second half, going 18-2 in their first 5 Games since 2005. Add this year it's now 21-2. In their first 16 Games after the ASB since 2005 they're now 38-13 with 13 games remaining this Season. I don't lay -200 but this was worth a mention.

Back in a few. Bar, aren't you going against your UNDER Angle for SD in first game Hm Series?

That Angle applies to first game Home off the road.

In Game1 Series 2, they're 4-2 on Totals this season and 8-8 through last year.

Meanwhile FLA, Game 1 Series 1 Away is 4-3 Totals this season and 9-3 last year for a combined 13-6

Added a late nighter to my Monday selections post via the Edit feature

Here's the Notes pertaining to the LAD Under:

Dodgers teamtotal Undah 4.5 is looking really tempting on my end

They've topped that number at Home just four times in past 20 at Chavez Ravine.

And while they scored four last game and five before that, the Dodgers have not played three consecutive Home games with 4+ runs in any of their past 39 Home games (back to April 19)

Oh, and I do like them to win, which adds impetus to maybe just using the Under 9 (-103)

Best to us all for a profitable Monday

OK Bar, but I've got SD 38-12 OVER FGRS and 17-32 FGHS [5-7 TY]. I'm betting NO OVERS until the league has an OVER day.

A night off? WTF is that? Probably taking the wife and poodle out to one of those restaurants where they have special meals and deserts for canines. Have fun Bar!

Yesterday 3-3 for a positive ONE-TENTH of a Unit WOOHOO!

Thread = 19-23, -5.45 Units

Tuesday:

CUBS +115 -- Cubs have won 10 stright and 16 of 19 when facing a Team who beat them by 5+ runs the previous day. Phils 4-11 Gm #2 Hm Srs if off 2+ Wins. Pitching edge here too. If Phils win tonight I stop picking on them!

SF +185 -- Braves off 2+ Wins with last one being by more than 1 Run are 8-19 last 27.

CLE -110 -- Jays 2-13 Home in GM #1 Hm Srs off Hm Win. 'Halliday Hangover' ... Jays 38-63 the game after Roy starts. Pitching edge here as well with Lee.

OAK -130 -- I could lose this on sheer Minny anger alone over the blown call. I don't like betting against motivation but MIN 2-11 off 2+ Losses if allowed 10+ Runs in previous Game.

Fuck The Poodle

(I need a tshirt with that slogan)

MEANWHILE....I confess I did play a single 3Teamer....gave up on it when the PHI -1.5 portion got to bottom of ninth tied, though the second portion (CHW/TB Under 10) was rock solid

And now I see that Suddenly, the late game has meaning as J Werth launches a three run walkoff tater

As the fans of Pee Wee Herman begged him that day he was busted in the Miami porno theatre...Pull For Me, boys!

PARLAY (3 TEAMS)
[956] PHI -1½+170
( R HARDEN -R / J BLANTON -R )
[976] TOTAL u10EV (TAM vrs CWS)
( J NIEMANN -R / C RICHARD -L )
[979] TOTAL o8½-105 (MIN vrs OAK)
( A SWARZAK -R / D BRADEN -L )

16 / 152

Also mixed in a couple of small 2TPs for action and I see that both Punter and I could use a Dodger win.
