About fascism in America right before the US gets involved in WWII. So like 1940. Perspective of a Jewish family living in America. Lindbergh vs Roosevelt. Crazy times

This show is on my list to check out. I'm hoping it will get into the plot to overthrow Roosevelt

I heard it’s good. How many episodes did they make? I’ll probably catch it over the summer

6 episodes. It’s a story based on the novel in 2004, because Lindbergh never ran. He wins though in this against FDR and this is all very similar to trump right now. He was like a celebrity, like Trump. Author was accused of trying to draw comparisons to the bush administration, which the author denied. I haven’t read the book. This sounds a lot more like Trump though.

Lindbergh wins the election over incumbent president Franklin D. Roosevelt in a landslide under the slogan "Vote for Lindbergh, or vote for war." Montana Senator Burton K. Wheeler is Lindbergh's vice president, and Lindbergh nominates Henry Ford as Secretary of the Interior. With Lindbergh now in the White House, the Roth family begins increasingly to feel like outsiders in U.S. society.
Lindbergh's first act is to sign a treaty with Nazi Germany and Adolf Hitler, promising that the United States will not interfere with German expansion in Europe

Yeah it’s about the hypothetical of if Roosevelt didn’t win and Lindbergh ran and won. Crazy times
