I heard on XM the other day that 1/3rd of presidents trophy winners go on to win the cup.

Dallas 1998-99

...and the last time the Rangers won the Presidents Trophy was 1993-94. They ended up winning the cup.

i just remember vancouver winning b2b a few yrs ago and losing in playoffs and the 92-93 pens, which a lot of people say was actually the best team they had including the b2b cup winning teams and they lost to those damn islanders hahaha
