It will be interesting to see how it shakes out. For sure we will get a new crew down here and a new identity as time goes on. Someone made a good point about TFZ. That was Raiders gig and he did a good job with it, we probably shouldn't even try and replace it here. I mean we wouldn't stop anyone from doing it but probably better to just let it go, capping stuff can go in the regular forums where they belong. I have been hanging around but I will be pulling out of here soon and letting things shake out here as they may. Here are some points I want to mention on the way out.
- If these sheep hate the place it would make sense to stay out of here. Make us better or take off for greener pastures but stop the whining please! LOL. I have asked the crybabies to visit me in the one thread so we won't have to trample over these broken hearts. Most are young and naive and don't know any better. If they can't see the truth by now they probaby never will, let's focus on what we can do here and let these whiners move on. This should be an agenda free zone or as close to it as we can get it.
- The Rubber Room was never a completely unmoderated forum and never will be. I posted this the other day in Lou's thread and just want to make sure all are aware of it. It's close but never was completely unmoderated. Peep started this Rubber Room stuff but ended up banning some people down here for comments that were directed to him. A couple of fruitcakes, harmless but no doubt screwed in the head and he got tired of it. So at no time was it ever completely unmoderated. Having said that we will not look to get involved down here. Outside of kiddie porn, blatant racial stuff and some other crap that goes over the top it will be damn close to unmoderated. Which brings me to my next point....
- Don't participate down here if you can't handle it. It's true, often the guys who dish the most can take the least. Then when they aren't getting in enough blows they resort to following their opponent all over the forum. That's when trouble starts. If you can't handle it don't start down here with anyone. I don't know how many are gone now that couldn't wait to mouth off to others yet soon found out they couldn't handle it. Though unmoderated not everyone down here just want to start wars with others. If you do then expect for your opponent to take shots at you as well.....
- Nothing will ever replace men acting like adults and resolving their own diferences. If people get going on these things no moderator can come in and solve it. We don't have a magic wand. I say this because both sides love to dish it out but eventually the attacks start to wear on them and they then want us to get involved. When that happens everyone loses. After we get these crybabies out of here you guys will moderate the place on your own, we can't nor want to govern things down here.
Anyone else have any comments or suggestions? If you guys need anything from me or the site please ask. There is a lot of potential down here and people that actually bet money now. This will become what you guys want it to be, have some fun with it at least.
