I would agree it is the best I can remember for rd 1. A lot of parity now in the game with the way the salary cap is setup, a lot of the newer coaches are pretty smart in how to utilize their talent and then the 3 pointer (always known as the great equalizer in basketball) is shot more than ever and more proficiently than ever. Every team being so good at shooting 3s makes the games a lot more unpredictable/gives lesser teams a better chance.
I actually think they should move the 3pt line back a little but thats another discussion for another thread I suppose.
Case in point re: the 3pointer
Mike Scott 5-5 from downtown and the Hawks up 25 on Indy right now. Indy isn't a real #1 seed and has been playing mediocre for 2 months but it is still a 8 upsetting a 1 which has only happened 3 other times in NBA history (only 1x in a 7 game series)
