I always find "overrated" to be difficult because I don't know where everyone is rated in the first place. How about Vince Carter?

Durant - how are these stats overrated?

25.6 pts
6.5 reb
2.9 ast
1.3 stl
0.7 blk
48% fg
42% 3fg
86% ft

seems to fill the stat sheet to me

and only make $4,484,040 a year

Tracy McGrady belongs on this list. People still think he is the T-Mac of old.

#1 Draft Pick Greg Oden

Shaq was asked what he thought of Oden last week, he said

"I don't"

I'm a Shogun. You can't ask me about a low level ninja. I still have to worry about Yao Ming, Dwight Howard."

Stephan Marbury

That guy is getting paid $21 million this year(The 2nd highest paid player in the league) and when the N.Y. coach asked him to come into the game HE REFUSED TO PLAY!!!! :):)

I also see he isn't doing much at all with the Celtics either. :ohno:

Celtics were smart enough to only sign him for the league minimum.

Yup true, But don't see how he ended up pulling that 21 million contract this year with the Knicks when he isn't even in the top 100 players in the league.

Wow....You really think so Teddy?

Nobody could stop him from getting to the hoop with that crossover dribble he had.

Something must really stick out in your mind about him.....

Ya, His penis.

I really liked Tim in Golden State but he went to Miami and stunk it up and when traded stabbed Riley in the back.

how about Steve Nash..? Talk about only playing on one end of the court. I don't think he was necessarily overrated in his prime, but the last few years he has been IMO.

b davis, t-mac, yao, josh smith, chris bosh

baron davis is a solid pick. Talk about cashing in a paycheck in L.A.

I know I may get flamed a little bit for this but I think yao has to be considered on this list. I believe this is his 7th season now, and the only improvement I've seen from him is a turnaround jump shot. You would think after being double-teamed for so many years he would know how to kick it out, but he still struggles mightily with the concept. Watching the Rockets at certain points, I've seen their offense move more fluidly with him on the bench. Barring an Artest ball hogging exhibition, they scored more efficiently when they didn't have to feed him in the post. I know people rag on McGrady (as do I) for being a nobody for quite some time, but I don't think Yao's really helping his team out with some softness. He gets off the hook from the media because he's such a nice guy, but he should have developed some form of physical play by now.
