Its either a brilliant choice or a complete loser.

My personal opinion its a lousy choice.
I would have and did bet Kay bailey hutchinson.

I like Hutchinson, but another Texan ain't gonna fly.

And another Senator ain't very swift either

I think Palin is perfect. Executive experience as both mayor and governor, a srtrong, outspoken conservative and a scrappy in-fighter. A card carrying member of the NRA and a right to lifer with a son in the military - she's for off-shore and Anwar drilling and sending illegal aliens back where they came from. She's a conservative who can walk the walk and talk the talk.

She has a ton of positives and few negatives - all of the liberal carping and smear attempts will strengthen her image rather that detract from it.

She sews up the religious right and and social conservatives along with attracting a large number of "strong" women.

I think she's everything that McCain needed to heal his breach with the right wing of the party.

I can see the banner in 2012 - Palin for President

virgina

I usually ignore mis-spellings, but this one deserves cudos for originality.

The far right which was lukewarm for McCain before this pick is estatic & that alone make this a sound decision. He needs them to win and now they are behind him 100%.
Just looking over the PUMA blogs one can surmise many Hillary voters, who feel disrespected are giddy over Sarah's selection and will defect to McCain. And many independent men once they see Sarah would like to see her on the political landscape for a longtime. A great decision fro many many reasons.

you guys are delusional. no smart lib is panicing or worried in the least about palin... no one is worried about some "trap" being set as everyone expects Biden to be the same guy Obama brought in... a Washington pitbull..

Palin will hold her own and it will be like all of the VP's to come before and to come in the future, it won't matter. It will come down to what the country thinks they need more war, more tough love, domestic drilling... dimplomacy, big bleeding heart gov't, pouring anything and everything into energy independence not via our own oil but via other methods that somehow come to fruition...

Biden is obviously more qualified but Palin will potentially bring more women to the polls for McCain and it will all wash out at the end of the day.

No one is melting down over this stunt.

Cudos is a city in southwest France. I think you meant "kudos."

I guess the pun was lost on you!

Cudos is an acronym used to denote principles that should guide good scientific research. According to the Cudos principles, the scientific ethos should be governed by Communalism, Universalism, Disinterested humility, Originality, Scepticism (CUDOS).

I already have 300 on McCain at +260 at DSI & scalp out taking Obama at -140.
Thanks anyway. By the way Obama is -165 at a good sportsbook, so anyone interested should take Bigpaly up on this generous offer!
