HACKENS BK V MALMO FF 3.50 3.30 2.30


Why in the world Hacken is such a big dog is beyond me. They have done nothing but win at home (5-1-1, 16 pts), and really haven't been in that bad of form (3-0-3). In 14 matches, Hacken has only given up 16 goals. At home they own a 14-6 goals advantage in 7 matches. That's better than 2-1 everytime out! Malmo on the other hand looks good on paper, (8-2-4) but isn't playing in any better form, (3-2-1) and has a goal disadvantage of 7-8 in their last six (6). In fact, they are not lighting the scoreboard up with only 17 goals in 14 games. On the road Malmo is 3-2-2 with a pitiful 6-6 GA. And it won't get any better today with their top striker AFONSO AVES (7-goals) sitting this one out. So with Malmo minus their best player and the huge value you have with Hacken BK @ 3.50, I couldn't pass this one up.

Another big time value match-up. Inter Turku has played almost flawless at home this year. They are 4-2-0 and have a 10-0 GA! There is a rumor floating around that one of Turku's forwards N'GAL will be sidelined. But the big blow is on Mypa's side. They will be without posibly the leagues best defenseman, HUGO MIRANDA! Believe me when I say this, there's no replacing Miranda! He alone will leave a huge gapping cavity that the best Dentist in the world couldn't fill. I'm seeing this one 1-0, or even 0-0.

Miranda out?? If that's true you really have some inside info. I haven't read anything about it. N'Gal said, that he won't play today. If Miranda is out it will affect a lot, because another regular defender Timoska has been out whole July. When talking about MyPa's this season squad, it's important to remember that most of their bench players would be in starting squad in another Finnish league team. Good luck to your bet anyway

SWITZERLAND: SUPER LEAGUE

Boy if there was ever a time I needed a win it's today, and I think I found a couple. The first is Basel. This team is coming off back to back league championships with a 21-7-6 record. They re-signed their Manager CHRISTIAN GROSS to a new 4 year deal, and was able to keep to nucleus of this prolific offense in tact. I've never seen them play outside of highlites here and there, but I followed them all year last year like many of you might have, and came to the conclusion that Basel is of thee elite. Their two starting strikers combined for 33 goals last year! CHRISTIAN GIMENEZ led the league last season with 26 alone! Fellow striker CESAR CARIGNANO chipped in 7 goals. Are you ready for this? MATIAS DELGADO from his starting Midfielders spot had 11 goals!!! Now I know it's early, but all the so-called experts are saying Basel does it again this year.

Thun on the other hand was runner up last year at 18-6-10. But this year you can expect them somewhere in the middle of the pack because they lost five (5) starters in the off season including goalkeeper FABIO COLTORTI. At first glance I started to shy away simply because I hate road favorites, but then I checked the upcoming schedules. And low and behold, Thun on July 26th is playing the biggest game in their team history! The first time ever in the UEFA Champions Qualifier and they get matched up with one of my favorites DYNAMO (KYIV) of the Ukraine. Now here's the thing....If I'm the Manager of Thun, and were playing a super tough opponent in Basel, and just four days later I'm managing in the biggest game of my career against Dynamo Kyiv, hell I'm no dummy! I rest my players for tournament play because I know I have two other games against Basel later in the year. But you know what? It wouldn't matter anyway......
