Illini<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_1532995", true); </SCRIPT> WHO SAID Saddam is responsible for 911
Who said Iraq has WMD"S
Who said the conflict is over

Those are called lies told by Bush. Are you really this ignorant?
Just to save you from typing anymore I can assure you that you have already answered my question.

Ben-get a clue. Your candidate, in the same hour last night, said that Saddam was no threat, and that Saddam was a threat. The spotlight was on, and he couldn't even keep from contradicting himself for one hour. One of my relatives is a hard-core democrat journalist, and has interviewed Kerry. Even he, a supporter, says he can't keep from flip-flopping in the same interview. And Bush never said Saddam was responsible for 9-11.

Illini: "And Bush never said Saddam was responsible for 9-11".

He only implies it all the time like last nite when Kerry corrected him.

My favorite part of the debate was when Bush asked Lehrer for a retort to one of Kerry's comments then went blank for about 4 seconds with the camera on him then went off on a completely different tangent on one of his talking points. The shot where he was just standing there was hilarious - he looked like my two year old cousin after just shvtting his pants. what a complete moron, he has to be least intelligent president ever.

Actually, the other classic Bush moment was when he was telling how the hardest job of the presidency is to love the parent of the slain soldier...wtf?

if you had to handicap kerry/bush point-wise on intelligence tests it might look like this:

SAT: Kerry - 400
GMAT: Kerry - 400
IQ: Kerry - 40

Does anyone seriously believe that if he wasn't son of George H Bush that he could have possibly ascended to presidency on his own?

Mudbone-I agree that Bush does not come across at the sharpest person I've ever seen. However, I don't think you can necessarily equate public speaking with intelligence. I believe that Bush is a smart man, and can think on his feet, although he isn't always able to articulate it and look flashy. Bush won me over in the 2000 debates when he was discussing past military action vs. Al Gore. Gore was utterly clueless and did nothing but babble on and on without answering anything or giving an opinion. Bush, on the other hand, answered every question directly, and had an opinion on every past action that he was asked about. I saw a man that can think on his feet, which is much better than a well-trained BSer.

That was just a mild side effect of the smallpox vaccine.

Giliman,

I'm glad you can see the light. To think that Kerry vs Kerry could probably go to a top 100. Some will ignore all of this, simply amazing.

I cannot believe Kerry vs Kerry is in the race for President of the United States.

Think about it... Would you support this liar to be dog catcher in your community? I'm amazed. Kerry for dog catcher would not fly in most communities and this is the best the democrats have to offer.

Bush is honorable, steady and a straight shooter.

Kerry is not worthy to be dog catcher.

Out,sorry,I can buy into your description of Kerry but not your opinion of Bush. I'm not sure if it's Bush's fault or it's advisors. But don't see alot of straight shooting about the situation in Iraq. From why we are there to the current situation. Also can't see how he can really believe that he is not gonna have to raise taxes,he is saying further cuts.Deficit keeps rising and war costs keep rising. Now he is looking at Iran.Sorry don't see much truth coming out of the Whiete house these days,or from the Kerry camp either.I have become completely disenchanted with the situation in America and the country's future.I am the eternal optimist but can't see any silver lining.

You're right. You should, however, ask yourself why the administration will not come out and admit that Iraq is nothing more than a strategic conquest to put military bases in key locations in Iraq. Why, if you can accept this fact, do they not presume that this will be a popular and legitimate motive in the eyes of the rest of the American public?

USA, GloboCop.

Ah, the sanctity of life ... so beholden to the Right.

we elect people to run the country for us. the american public is NOT capable of making foreign policy descisions or military descisions. we are BETTER OFF NOT knowing the reasoning.

Jim Lehrer ambushed Bush, it was a clear setup. I've never seen such one sided hardballs thrown at one canidate and the other Kerry was not questioned at all.

Why didn't Lehrer ask Kerry, 100's of swiftvets say you received fraud medals from your 4 month stay in Vietnam, how do you respond Mr. Kerry. OR maybe Mr Kerry many Vets are angry because you threw your medals away and called them murderers. Or maybe Mr Kerry you missed 75% of Senate meetings on intelligence what was more important than these meetings? I should have been the moderator. Not one hard question was asked of Kerry. How did this occur?

I HAVE HAD IT WITH THE LEFT WING MEDIA BIAS. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THEY ARE EXPOSED AS FRAUDS.

I cannot believe Rove agreed to allow Lehrer to moderate, why not just let Rather moderate.

"Mr. Kerry, I was going to ask you if you thought pre-emptive attacks on another nation might be necessary in a four-year term under your leadership, leading to who knows how many deaths of our troops and their civilians. But then I changed my mind. You see, there's this hot little tidbit of meaningless gossip about something that happened 30-some-odd years ago that I'd rather talk about instead. A regular he-said-he-said, if you will. Then, right after of that, we'll talk about why it is that Bush, with a DUI conviction, can hold the office of the Presidency, but ex-cons in Florida can't even vote.

Because I, Mr. Senator, know what the real issues are."

Idiot - what about Fox News lies.

Faux News: Fox News Fabricates Story

Possibly exhausted after watching George W. Bush continually declare that "it's hard work" in the first presidential election of the season, FoxNews.com has slipped up by fabricating quotes that portrayed Sen. John Kerry in an extremely feminine light.
Under the sub-title, The Metrosexual vs. the Cowboy (click on the image to the right for the archived article), FoxNews published fake quotes of John Kerry such as, "Didn't my nails and cuticles look great? What a good debate!" and "Women should like me. I do manicures."
The article was quickly pulled and replaced with the following explanation from the editor of FoxNews.com:

"Earlier Friday, FOXNews.com posted an item purporting to contain quotations from Kerry. The item was based on a reporter’s partial script that had been written in jest and should not have been posted or broadcast. We regret the error, which occurred because of fatigue and bad judgment, not malice."

At least Fox's detractors now have good reason to call them the Faux News Network.
