Bama secondary had 2 ints they should have caught. 1 more if Ragland wasn't in the air when the Dline tipped a pass. Clemsons Dline played lights out. Bama RT couldn't block shit. He missed all night. I believe both kickers missed a fg. Don't know how the better team lost?.....it was a great game, but it's pretty simple the better team won. Coker also put up over 300 yards which is not a regular.

on to next year

Clemson just got out coached. Now you know the difference between a $3 million dollar coach and a $7 million dollar coach. The look on Swinney's face after that onsides kick was priceless...Having said that, personally I'm getting tired of Bama winning championships every other year and having to go through them to win the championship for the last 10 years. Sorry Bama fans, but if I don't see the Tide in the playoffs or hear the S-E-C brotherhood chant again in my lifetime it won't bother me..

Pretty much echos my sentiments, though I'll add that somebody in the vaunted SEC needs to step the fuck up.

Clemson's coaching must not be too bad to get them to the CG, and damn near pull it off. These two teams are far above the rest, and who cares who is better, or who was lucky- Alabama won the game.

I liked that the refs let them play, only calling the most obvious penalties. I also think Watson is just an incredible player. Got knocked around, pressured all night, facing a near pro-like defense, and still guided his team to 40 points. You put Watson(or a player like him- Mariota, Boykin) on a bad team and he automatically wins 3-5 more games for that team(Purdue in a bowl game!). That's why these unique dual-threat playmaking QBs are so dang valuable, and recruitment of them of utmost importance to the success of a team.

It's probably going to take an Urban Meyer caliber coach to dethrone Bama. And I'm not really seeing it right now in that conference. Kirby Smart could turn out to be that kind of coach, but who knows. I'm still not quite sold yet on McElwain. Although he is a big upgrade from Muschamp. For any of these schools to step up, they'll have to start spending Bama caliber money on their coaching staffs and program. And they'll need to find a coach like a Saban who doesn't miss anything. His attention to every detail is what makes him the best there is.... I'm still waiting for Satan to pay a visit to Alabama and start demanding it's soul...lol

The 2nd paragraph is spot on. First of all I thought the refs were great. Your thought of the DT QB is correct on the college level. The truth is there are only a handful of teams that can recruit the size and speed to run a pro-style offense on the college level. The DT QB is the equalizer

Yes, in COLLEGE a dual threat QB can be invaluable....now that doesn't always translate to the pro game (see Tebow & Manziel).

I was impressed w/ Clemson and Dabo has done a great job. But as I've often stated, being the best team in the ACC is like being the smartest retard in a class full of retards! Seriously, though...winning the ACC isn't a big accomplishment. But FSU & Clemson can compete w/ most of college football. However, playing an ACC schedule makes it easy to run the table....unlike SEC and P12 and B10 schedules.

Another option is Saban retiring. Lets say he gets bored kicking everybody's ass. That might be the more likely scenario.
