UCLA upsets #1 seed Michigan 51–49, advances to final 4

The Bruins pulled off an amazing sequence of events in the past few weeks, going from a play-in team into being two wins away from winning it all. UCLA’s Johnny Juzang pulled off a dazzling performance, scoring 28 points on 11–29 shooting, accounting for well over half of his team’s points. Both teams shot poorly with both shooting under 40%, but the real crusher for the Wolverines was only shooting 6–11 from the line and turning the ball over 14 times, compared to just 8 for the Bruins. UCLA is currently +14 against Gonzaga with an over/under of 134.5, and this will be by far the hardest test for the Bruins so far.

Gonzaga cruises to easy win over USC 85–66

The Zags got off to a hot start in the first half, entering intermission with a 49–30 lead and held serve in the 2nd half. Drew Timme put up a great line for Gonzaga, putting up 23/5/4 with 3 steals in just 31 minutes. They will have plenty of rest heading into a very good matchup against the Bruins on Saturday.
