There are 2 places that sell half price tickets to many of the shows in town. One of them is right next to the Harley Davidson cafe on the strip. The other place is right behind the MGM hotel and casino, where the Coca Cola center is located.

What is this all about? Do I go there and purchase a coupon book? Is it worth it? Do they cahnge what shows are being offered all the time, or is it the same shows? If they are the same shows....what ones are they offering discounts to? Thanks.

BTW...has anybody ever been to the Clint Holmes show?

Depends on the night. On weeknights those places offer a lot of discounts to a good variety of shows from the big marquee shows, some headliners, and some comedy places. The shows you can't get are things like "O" or Blue Man, the shows that are almost always full. On Fridays and Saturdays the selection is a lot worse. One friend of mine was there in April and went on a Saturday and it was pitiful he said, a few Riviera shows, a couple of second class hotel shows, and one comedy club. He took the comedy club and said he enjoyed it, but it wasn't what they were looking for. So do check them out, but don't count on getting anything good in particular.

Located next to MGM Hotel & Casino. Look for the giant coke bottle, you can't miss it.

Both locations are open from 12-9 pm daily and you must go in person to rurchase tickets.

Goodluck and i hope this helps you out a bit more.

Wildbill, they offer alot more shows than you think. I once got tix to Danny Gan's show that came in while i was in line. They were not half price but were at a discount price and 3rd row.Tix available are for tix for that day only, so they change daily. I will be thewre next month and try them out again.

Yelman, you can park for free at the Harley Davidson parking garage behind the Cafe.

Check the reviews for the shows you think you are most interested in and see if those are available.

Yelnam13, most importantly, have a safe trip

Try to go see the Mac King comedy show at Harrah's. I t is very funny and you can get 241 tix from the LasVegas Advisor book or you can go to the Rio hotel and Casino and proceed to the Carnival Buffet line, where you will see a standing kiosk that you can grab a double coupon from for free tix to the Mac king show or the Ron Lucas Magic show which is at the Rio with the purchase of a drink for $6.95, a steal. The slot club booth at the Rio and at Harrah's also will give you a tix w/ purchase of a drink if they feel like it. You have a better chance with them if this is the first time signing up with them.

One of the best deals going on right is at the Horseshoe. If you've never had a slot card there before, signup and $100 coin in ( which is not much just 80 hands of 25cent Video Poker w/ 5 coins in) you will probably break even more or less. Go back to the Slot Club and they will give you a 241 to the Rio buffet which is worth upto $25 if you use it for Dinner. The buffet is very good, they just finished doing a major renovation at the carnival buffet. That's not all, you also get a FREE show tix or tickets worth upto $100 to use at Rio and Harrah's. Hope you see this in time and let me know how it works out.
