1) Absolutely! I feel secure that Boeing has made all the necessary adjustments.

2) No fucking way! Don't trust them with my life.

3) Not for now perhaps in the future.

Though the plane was flawed the reason the planes went down was the result of pilot error. No jet with a Western trained pilot went down.

Yes, if that's what JetBlue happens to be flying.

My neighbor, a pilot who was on the runway at Logan waiting to take off when all flights were canceled on 9/11, said he would only fly american airlines and a couple of European airlines for those very reasons. Training, experience and even maintenance schedules.

It appears lack of training and experience brought those planes down

Against his advice, I once flew Bahamas Air from Nassau to Florida because they were the only reasonable fare. They "never had an accident". Their reviews were horrible, but all based on timing, and the airlines didn't disappoint leaving 2.5 hours late.

I love their slogan; "If you have time to spare, fly Bahamas Air"

Pilot error like Thurman Munson...sorry couldn't resist the setup. Huge Yankee fan here Carl and I loved Munson.

I fly about twice a month. I totally forgot about it. Usually i look up the plane i'm flying when booking just because i'm an avinerd. However I can't control my Southwest flights. So....we'll see. FWIW Southwest is scheduled to start flying 737 Max planes around April 2021

It may have been pilot error, but the root cause was a design and engineering flaw that passed all of the tests before the plane started flying the first time. The exact same people and processes now put the plane in the air again. Let's let Iranian Air fly them for about six months.
