That statement sir, is bullshittery at it's greatest. You must really be young, because without EVEN thinking about it, the 76 Pitt Panthers with Dorsett, the '80 Georgia Dawgs with Herschel were even better, man, I'm not sure you know football. And that doesn't count a plethora of Bama and ND teams over the years.

Not bullshit at all. It was a pretty dominating run and one that will go down in history up there with the best seasons. I'm not sure you know football.

And evidently you don't read very well, do you. I said most dominating season, not best all-time team. Statistically, looking at margin of victory, scoring defense, ect, the season was about as dominating as anything college football has seen. Never said it was the best TEAM ever. I don't think last years FSU team was as "good" as the 1992 FSU team. And going back 40 years, before the times of scholarship limitations, 14 game seasons, 9 game conference schedules, and such is comparing apples to oranges. It is a different era. As far as the most talent deep in NCAAF history, I would probably give the nod to the 2001 Miami Hurricanes; 38 players drafted in NFL draft, including some ridiculous number like 17 in the first round.
