My lone spread pick of the week is on Texas-Arlington (11-18 SU, 13-13 ATS), who are getting too many points at +12.5 versus Utah Valley (22-7 SU, 18-8 ATS). The projections I’m looking at have the Wolverines winning by 11.
UVU find themselves at the top of the WAC standings, but Ken Pomeroy has them at No. 84 overall (No. 164 offense, No. 36 defense) on his efficiency charts, second behind No. 72 Sam Houston State in the conference. And while the Mavs are way down the list at No. 238 overall (No. 291 offense, No. 170 defense), their offensive rebounding and interior defense should help bridge that gap.
