I disagree. And we still don't know the true reason why the flag was taken down in the first place. So far we have only the word of that woman that it happened because the flag was thought "offensive". Kindred Healthcare's version sounds different.

This issue was simply a dispute between two employees who shared a small workspace, one of whom removed the flag because of its size. It's important to note that hospital management was not involved in the decision to remove the flag and has since worked with both employees to resolve the situation. We support our employees' first amendment rights and have invited the employee to rehang her flag.

She said they told her to take it down and they said they didn't tell her to take it down.

The question becomes then who is telling the truth?

Exactly. So what was presented blatant disrespect for the American Flag and the values it stands for probably was just a dispute between two co-workers about work-space. Very impressive...

However, the quote says she arrived to work and a supervisor told her to take it down. That says to me that a dispute occured, one person complained to a supervisor and then a decision was made unless she just flat out lied about being told by a supervisor.

well, I'll repeat my summation from post # 5

"if somebody found that flag offensive, well that's just weird and wrong

if her employer didn't like the look in the office, that's acceptable"

after that I merely observed that it is the same group of people that tend to respect the flag that are respecting the employee, while the same demographic of people that tend to blame America first that said the employer was right for making her take down the flag, albeit for made up and inaccurate reasons, that's the conclusion they reached.

That's kinda weird to me.
