Halle:

Phillip Kohlschriber -375 (1 Unit) ~ Kohlschreiber is a streaky player, and his results on grass were rather favorable. Last year, he won one match here in Halle, the quarters in 's-Hetrogenboch, and the round of 32 at Wimbledon. His opponent is a absolute nobody that snuck up and beat Gasquet in his first round match. While that win may be seen as impressive, match stats show Gasquet served terribly and made a multitude of errors. Kohlschriber is a decent price here. Kohlschriber is coming off a pretty decent clay court season, and I would expect him to win this match in 2.

Oueens:

Nadal -290 (2 Unit) ~ The price is this cheap because many are expecting a letdown by Nadal after his big French Open victory. Also, people might believe that Del Potro is a strong play due to the 7-5 set he took Rafa to in the 1st round. However, Del Potro did not play one match on grass last year. He obvioulsy hasnt had time to prepare for long after the French, and shouldnt be on his top form. Del Potro, like Nadal, is a heavy top-spin clay courter. However, Rafa is able to adjust by taking his backhand earlier and flattening the ball out on grass. Rafas serve is getting better, and he should win this match as long as he doesnt get slow on the forehand. Rafa is a psycho, he will be ready.

Kendrick +550 (.3 Units) ~ The kid has a monster serve on this grass, and actually gave Nadal the fits last year at Wimbledon. Djokovic is playing great tennis, but his long French Open appearance may leave him a little unprepared here. If there is a whole in the Djokovic game, it is that he struggles to get easy points at the net. Kendrick will serve huge, its just a matter of him getting a break or two. Ill take the great odds.

Do not underestimate the Pakistan guy. He has moster serve and is a 100% grass player. In India and Pakistan there are a lot of grass courts and people like Bopanna and Qureshi have grown on this grass.

At the same time Kohlshreiber is not a grass player at all. Of course he is a better player, but his serve is not very good. His good baseline qualities can be beaten by serve and volley style.

I expect a tough one here and I do not think that opposing a grass player at less that 1.3 is right choice.

Anyway GL.

Good luck ICC. I agree with you about Djokovic being inconsistent at the net. He needs to work on that.

Kohlschriber ~ W (1 Unit)

Kendrick ~ L (.5 Units)

Kendrick got the first set, but didnt have enough in the tank to really get things moving in the 2nd or third. Good luck fellas, and thanks for taking the time to swing on by.

Great day man.

This is definitely one of the best sub-forums on the site, everyone sharing plays and knowledge and none of the 'LOCK OF DA YEAR' bullshit.

Look forward to your next plays.
